Lindsay Lohan is trying to weasel her way back into Samantha Ronson’s life and she ‘s not above using Sam’s dog to do it. Lohan was seen leaving Samantha’s house at 6:30 AM with Sam’s bulldog Cadillac. A few minutes later Sam left with luggage for the airport in a separate car. It looks like Lindsay is being ever-so-helpful by dog sitting while Sam is out of town working.

Carnie Wilson had gastric bypass in 1999 and she’s STILL battling to control her weight. Before she got pregnant with this, her second child, Carnie lost fifty pounds. Her cravings for cheese and bagels brought her weight up again. Carnie and her husband musician Rob Bonfiglio have a four year old daughter Lola, and the upcoming baby is already named Luciana. The “Godmother of Punk,” Patti Smith, just had lunch at Da Silvano’s in New York. It was way back in 1976 that she first appeared on Saturday Night Live and nothing was the same after that. She was a punk goddess who retired to Detroit for years to raise a family and after her husband died she started performing again. She retains her spirit and style.
It’s not looking good for Farrah. Her family and friends are visiting her at her Wilshire Blvd condo, but she isn’t leaving home. Ryan O’Neal admits she’s lost her famous hair and no longer cares. She’s essentially bedridden and doesn’t speak much. Her video diary of her cancer battle in the US and Germany now has an airdate on NBC: May 15. The two hour special was shot mostly with her own video camera, operated by her friend Alana Stewart. Ryan, Jaclyn Smith, and Kate Jackson appear in the video, which is narrated by Farrah. We’d hoped for a happy ending. Somehow the airdate makes everything seem so final…and a little ominous.
Parisians think they’ve seen everything, but even THEY turned their heads to look at the shoes Beyonce wore to go sightseeing. They day after she performed in the city, Beyonce and her sister Solange and nephew Daniel, 4, walked around and took in the sights. Beyonce wore six inch platforms while Solange chose more comfortable gladiator boots.

Character actor Jeffrey Jones will forever be remembered for his role as Dean of Students in the John Hughes movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” After that, he appeared in “Beetlejuice” and “Ed Wood” for Tim Burton. His career took a wrong turn in 2002 when he was convicted of paying a 14 year old boy to pose for sex photos. He was ordered to undergo counseling and his career unfortunately diminished after that. He’s pictured here buying Octane magazine at a Beverly Hills newsstand – he has a classic 1961 Jaguar.

“Heroes” star Zachary Quinto slips in and steals the show as Spock in the new Star Trek. The movie is all about how The Enterprise crew came together in the beginning and it’s this human element that makes the action film palatable. Chris Pine makes a perfect cocky Captain Kirk, but you can’t take your eyes off Zachary. Quinto noted his resemblance to the original Spock, Leonard Nimoy, and talked about yearning to play the role back in 2006. Nimoy noticed, and the next thing you know, Quinto was cast. While filming, Zachary had to keep his prominent eyebrows shaved off for seven months. It was worth it. His subtle and elegant performance brings humanity to the character, the likes of which we haven’t seen since the original TV series.

Nothing brings on a swoon better than the sweet music of Johnny Mathis. When we were in college, the president of his fan club lived down the hall in the dorm so we talked about him all the time. He’s still touring and when he’s not, he’s playing golf at charity tournaments like this one for the Kidney Foundation hosted by George Lopez.
An astute reader has a contact at the O2 Arena in the UK where Michael Jackson has scheduled 50 concerts from July to September and January thru February. (That’s a staggering amount of performances for someone who’s often seen in a wheelchair.) The source says that everyone at the arena has been warned that no one backstage, crew or fans, can TOUCH Michael because he is delicate. The best part is that Michael will still be paid for his concerts even if he FAILS to complete his contract due to illness! What are the odds of him NOT becoming ill? He won’t allow an O2 doctor to examine him. The arena is starting to worry that they will be empty for many of these nights. How Michael gets away with all this is a miracle.
