Amal Clooney proves that she know how to dress down like “one of the girls” when she’s not working, and paid a visit to George on the Wall Street set of his movie “Money Monster.” George plays an unctuous financial advisor on TV taken hostage by a young man who took his advice and lost all his money. Surprisingly, it’s not a comedy, it’s a dramatic thriller. Amal brought their cute dogs along for the visit.

It looks like progress is finally being made toward Scientology losing its tax-exempt status – it’s being TALKED ABOUT! Alex Gibney, the documentary filmmaker responsible for HBO’s “Going Clear,” wrote an excellent editorial in the LA Times today titled “Scientology Should Not Be Tax-Exempt.” And boy, do we agree! He reasons that Scientology should not have their tax status revoked because it is not a “real religion.” It has a strange belief system – but so do other religions (virgin birth?) Gibney points out that to maintain the right to be tax exempt, religions must fulfill certain requirements for charitable organizations. They may not serve the private interests of any individual and activities must not be illegal or violate fundamental public policy. On these points alone, he says, Americans should not subsidize Scientology through tax exemption. Clearly, he has made a logical argument and we predict the downfall of Scientology is imminent. It’s hard to believe than Sean Lennon is already 39 years old and he continues trying to launch a music career. He showed up at Coachella, which happens to be the place where he met his model girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl, in 2006. They live together in his Greenwich village townhouse and they write songs and perform together. Charlotte was nowhere in sight at the moment this photo was taken.

Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen’s wife Isla Fisher just gave birth to their third child today and so far they’re keeping the baby’s gender a secret! They have two daughters, Olive, 7, and Elula, 4, and were hoping for a little boy this time. We have a feeling it’s another girl or they’d be shouting it from the rooftops, but you never know – these two can be very secretive.

Sophia Loren turned out to be the main attraction at a Moscow art exhibition of Niklas Safronov’s work. Niklas is perhaps the most important Russian artist of the early 21st century. He specializes in portraits of famous personalities –performers, politicians etc- with a twist. Sophia is one of his subjects and one of many celebrities who collect his work. Sophia looks great, but we just don’t like her eye glasses.

Britney Spears is filming an 80’s themed video with Iggy Azalea and she is NOT looking her best. She spends a lot of time in the gym but her abs leave a lot to be desired when they are on display. Not to mention the fact that she needs a bra. She likes to leave her underwear at home but that’s not always a smart move – especially when filming with a much younger singer…

Wow! The LA Times has a great Scientology scoop today. Police records show that Tom Cruise’s best friend David Miscavige had his OWN FATHER followed, spied upon, and planted a GPS unit in his car for 18 months after his father split from Scientology. He was afraid his father would talk about the organization’s nefarious activities. The situation came to light when detectives hired by the church were arrested in Ronald Miscavige Sr’s neighborhood in Wisconsin – they were carrying numerous weapons, binoculars, computers, a GPS tracing device, etc. Eventually the detectives from Florida broke down and admitted they were hired for $10,000 a week by David Miscavige through another party. Here’s a SHOCKER: One day as they were watching the father load objects into his car, the 79 year old grabbed his chest and slumped over. Detectives didn’t know what to do and called their Florida contact and David himself called them back in person. He told them that if was Ron’s time to die, to let him die and don’t interfere. The National Enquirer just kicked Barry Manilow, 71, out of the closet and we predict that after he gets over the shock, he’ll be RELIEVED! Old fashioned Barry has always been secretive about his private life and feared that female fans would abandon him if he admitted he was gay. Of course, most of Barry’s fans assumed he was gay and didn’t care. Barry married his longtime manager and the head of his production company, Garry Kief, 66, last year in a secret celebration at his Palm Springs home. They had a ceremony but didn’t file papers to make the union legal. However, they ARE wearing rings. It’s nice that Barry can finally relax and be himself.

Amal Clooney is probably the only lawyer in the world who is followed relentlessly by paparazzi. It’s not due to her considerable accomplishments, but to her striking looks and famous husband. At least she always has a pleasant look on her face and doesn’t seem disturbed by the attention. We like that.

Jaclyn Smith hopped out of her car in Beverly Hills looking just like her character Kelly from Charlie’s Angels on assignment! And that show was done forty years ago! The only visible difference is that Jaclyn’s hair is a few shades lighter but at 69, she looks remarkably the same! No wonder her skin care line is selling out at Kmart.
