Scantily attired Maggie Gyllenhaal is on location in New York filming “Deuce” in which she plays a Times Square hooker in a blonde wig. She costars with James Franco in this movie about the rampant sex industry in New York in the 70’s and 80’s. We clearly remember the OLD Times Square in those days, loaded with nudity and sex parlors – it was a dangerous place to walk at night. But colorful, for sure.

Jennifer Lopez might be the perfect girlfriend. Not only did she resume her romance with her backup dancer Casper Smart, but she got him an acting job on her cop show “Shades of Blue.” Above, he filmed a scene with Jen’s costar Ray Liotta. Remember, when Jennifer is on a concert tour- she hires Casper as her choreographer. So being Jennifer Lopez’s boyfriend is highly profitable.

Contrary to those persistent rumors that SOMEONE recycles every few months, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have no intention of splitting up. At first we assumed Tori was spreading bustup stories to increase interest in her reality shows. But certain websites and tabloids drag the rumors out again when they have nothing to write about. Fact is, Tori and Dean are incredibly happy together. An eyewitness source working on their new show for The Cooking Channel watched them on set for days while filming together. The source reported that between takes they were incredibly affectionate and considerate of each other. Dean made sure that Tori was always happy and they were both likeable and fun to work with. The happy family turned up for the premier of The Peanuts Movie this weekend.

When her acting career slowed down in the early 2000’s, she signed up for almost every reality show that came along – starting with Celebrity Big Brother and The Surreal Life. At this time she had a horrific ‘”romance” with Flavor Flav. She appeared on Celebrity Rehab for alcohol abuse. The 6’!” glamazon was also a regular on countless European reality shows. The most interesting one was a German show that gave her a complete plastic surgery makeover in 2008 so she could look as young as her husband, who is 15 years her junior. Katie Holmes must have SOME huge and threatening contract agreement with Tom Cruise’s lawyers promising that she will NEVER speak about Scientology! That became apparent when her reps pressured ABC to APOLOGIZE for merely IMPLYING that Katie was featured on their 20-20 Leah Remini/Scientology expose. Actually, only an innocuous quote from Katie was featured on the show – she was not interviewed. But Katie’s over-reaction makes it clear that she is still and probably always will be, too TERRIFIED or too threatened to ever speak about Scientology.
PS: We find Leah Remini’s big mouth very endearing…
Always the doting mother, Sarah Jessica Parker, along with some other moms and kids, took her six year old twins Tabitha and Marion, trick or treating around their West Village neighborhood. Sarah had fun socializing with neighbors and the kids got loads of candy. She’s a celebrity who enjoys living like a normal person.

Little Axl Duhamel is the apple of his parents eyes. Both Fergie and Josh Duhamel spend lots of quality time with their two year old. Josh is convinced that Axl is the image of his mother but he has both parents’ personality traits. Fergie picked up Axl after preschool in Brentwood today – he wore a race car driver costume. Lucky kid.

Probably not – he’s always been an off-beat character with a knack for acting. He plays a buttoned up political consultant in Our Brand Is Crisis but the real Billy Bob wants us to know he’s a cool guy. He explained that he hates to get dressed up and figures “it doesn’t matter anyway.“ That didn’t stop his special effects technician wife, Connie Angland, from putting on a nice black dress.
