EVEN GWYNETH PALTROW CAN’T SAVE THIS DOWDY CHANEL OUTFIT

Gwyneth Paltrow turned up at the Chanel Spring/Summer couture show at Paris Fashion Week in this matronly two piece suit. Karl Lagerfeld MUST have given it to her to wear to the event and she couldn’t say no. We can’t IMAGINE Gwyneth picking this out for herself. The square cut and stiff fabric along with the box pleated long skirt make Gwyneth look around 20 pounds heavier and when she sees these photos we bet she will privately vow NOT to take Lagerfeld’s advice all the time.

ASHTON KUTCHER IS AVOIDING MASSAGE PARLORS IN NEW ORLEANS

Ashton Kutcher is a real hands-on dad with his one year old little girl Wyatt. (He may have picked up a few tips when he was with Demi Moore and her three daughters.) Right now the family is in New Orleans and Ashton is playing househusband while Mila Kunis films an ironically titled movie “Bad Moms” with Christina Applegate and Kristen Bell. Ashton brought his delighted Wyatt to a New Orleans park and slid down the kiddie slide with her on his lap. He’s probably relieved to be away from Hollywood where he was photographed exiting a massage parlor before leaving for New Orleans.

DONATELLA VERSACE IS HOLDING HER OWN – EVEN NEXT TO GIGI HADID!

This HAS to be the best photo of Donatella Versace we’ve ever seen so we HAD to publish it. AWFUL photos of her are all over the place – especially on plastic surgery websites – so it’s nice to see her looking good. She presented her Spring/Summer line at Paris Fashion week and as usual, we’re not crazy about her hyper-sexy designs, but we do like this suit that Gigi Hadid (right) is wearing. And we’re pretty sure her boyfriend Zayn Malik likes it too.

EJ JOHNSON ENJOYS BLURRING GENDER BARRIERS

When EJ Johnson, 23, walks down Rodeo Drive, people turn around and take notice. Thrilled by his 180 lb weight loss, EJ couldn’t wait until summer to wear tight white jeans. He accessorized with a white tank top and unexpected fur cape with wintery boots. As they say, he “blurs gender barriers.” So well, in fact, that Caitlyn Jenner could take tips from EJ on how to walk daintily. BILLY ZANE IS LOOKING PROFESSORIAL THESE DAYS

Billy Zane, who played the wealthy snobbish fiancé in Titanic, actually isn’t snobbish at all. We don’t know about the wealth. But he’s a nice friendly guy and he had an exhibit of his photography at the party-friendly Leica Gallery in West Hollywood. He’s been shooting behind the scenes candids on his various movie sets and several were from Morocco, where he filmed the miniseries Cleopatra. He should have provided a paragraph explaining each photo because it would have been fun to know what was happening. But Billy was descriptive and talkative – he was dressed like a professor in a newsboy cap and tweed jacket. He’s about to start filming a new ABC miniseries, Guilt. (Obviously we asked the wrong person in the gallery to take our blurry photo above.)

REBEL WILSON GETS A MAKEOVER

Rebel Wilson enters Nine Zero One Salon with frizzy hair and comes out with it looking nice and smooth in LA

There’s nothing we love more than BEFORE and AFTER photos – especially when it involves beautification. Rebel Wilson spends a lot of time at the gym and she had a bad case of the frizzies today. She headed straight for the Nine Zero One salon on Melrose Place for a blowdry. (They go for $75 and up.) She walked out with smooth hair and feeling like a million bucks.

MAKSIM AND PETA: JOBS ON THE SIDE

Dancing with the Stars isn’t enough to keep Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroid busy year around, so they look for dance gigs wherever they can find them. Their latest appearance was at JC Penney at Manhattan Mall where they hosted a fitness event. Actually, the recently engaged pair could become quite the power couple in the world of dancing and we expect they will have no trouble finding work – if they stay together.

BROOKLYN BECKHAM BUSTED WITH AN OLDER WOMAN!

Brooklyn Beckham,16, was SO busted by paparazzi as he tried to sneak out the back door of the popular nightspot Chiltern Firehouse in London. He almost tripped, leaping into his Land Rover. He had just enjoyed a cozy dinner with actress Chloe Moretz, 18, (The 5th Wave) and didn’t want to be photographed with her. She walked out looking quite composed, a moment later. Recently Brooklyn informed his dad that he doesn’t want to be a pro soccer player – he’s not comfortable being observed and compared to his famous father. He looks like he might become quite a playboy, however.

NOT EVERYBODY DISAGREES WITH STACEY DASH

It IS funny how Stacey Dash’s comments about the Oscars are so reviled, but Morgan Freeman would probably say the same thing. The “Clueless” actress, who now appears on the Fox channel, is AGAINST separate award shows like the NAACP Image Awards for blacks and says “If we don’t want segregation, we have to get rid of the BET channel and Black History Month.” Morgan Freeman agrees – he wants to be known as an actor, not a BLACK actor. They have a point. But the Oscars are driven by Hollywood studios run by those good ol’ white boys in their baseball caps (who consider themselves to be very liberal.) These guys just don’t often THINK about women or people of color when it comes to movies. Sex and sports, yes, but movies, no. Boycotting the Oscars is not the answer – take it from a woman.

PAMELA ANDERSON PLEADS WITH FRANCE TO GIVE UP FOIE GRAS

Without a doubt, Pamela Anderson is absolutely RIGHT in her opposition to torturing geese and ducks to make the French delicacy foie gras. We don’t often agree with PETA but we are grateful that Pam appeared before the National Assembly of France (and created quite a stir!) to plead her case. It’s horrifying, but ducks and geese are force fed (with a tube down their throats!) corn to enlarge their livers and produce foie gras. Pam describes foie gras as “a nonessential product unworthy of a civilized society” and we agree. 20 countries have banned the cruel practice and Pam wants France to do the same. At least she got their attention and many young French people agree with her.
