WARREN BEATTY AND ANNETTE BENING’S YOUNGEST DAUGHTER

You don’t see a lot of photos of Warren Beatty and Annette Bening’s children, but their youngest girl Ella, 16, turned up at a screening of dad’s movie Rules Don’t Apply. Ella’s older brother Stephen, 24, is transgender and a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College. Stephen now lives in Iowa with his boyfriend Liam and not long ago announced that he wants to have children. To his credit, Warren has rolled with the punches and adores his kids and all their differences. Surprisingly, playboy Warren turned out to be an involved and devoted husband and dad.

MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL: CAN ECCENTRICITY BE INHERITED?

Maggie Gyllenhaal and her little girl Gloria Sarsgaard, 4, look like a perfectly matched mother and daughter. The indie actress has always had an off-beat style and today she’s wearing a cat print blazer by Stella McCartney (so it cost a pretty penny) as she walks Gloria to school in Brooklyn. Her unexpected combination is reflected in Gloria’s layered look. Soon Maggie will be too busy to walk to school because she’s starring in HBO’s new series The Deuce with James Franco. The series, set in the ‘70s and ‘80s, documents the rise of the porn industry in New York, until HIV changed everything. Richard Price (“The Night Of”) is a contributing writer, so we have high hopes for this one.

DIANE KEATON DOESN’T MIND DRESSING LIKE A NUN

Diane Keaton’s fashion never ceases to amuse us. She has a very specific style and likes her clothes and accessories so much she wears them over and over again. No waste there. She also piles on a ton of layers – even in the summer. You have to admire someone who can go to the Rose Bowl flea market in Pasadena when it’s 95 degrees, dressed in black from head to toe! Diane has a new HBO series, The Young Pope, with Jude Law and she plays a nun. We have the feeling she’s very comfortable in her nun clothes.

TOM FORD HATES WOMEN

The immaculately attired designer is beloved by many female fans, but Tom Ford’s new film Nocturnal Animals is dead proof that he privately despises women. Tom has no problem being accused of OBJECTIFYING women (remember he posed fully dressed on the cover of Vanity Fair with two naked actresses half his age.) But after seeing his film, we insist that “objectify” is not a strong enough word – he HATES women! It’s sometimes a decent movie, BUT it opens with two mature, morbidly OBESE stark naked women in garish makeup DANCING and rolling on the ground flapping their rolls of fat in all directions. No men, just women. That sets the inexplicable mood and theme of the movie: Tom theorizes that -like it or not – all women eventually turn into their mothers and hurt the sensitive men around them! Tom is fond of bragging that he can identify with women because he’s gay, but he couldn’t be more off-base. His contempt for women burns up the screen in this movie and it’s a shame he’s so oblivious because he is a talented filmmaker.

AMBER HEARD: DID JOHNNY GET CUSTODY OF THE STYLIST?

From the neck up, Amber Heard is her usual killer gorgeous self, but what happened FROM THE NECK DOWN? Grandma’s curtains? This puckered saggy droopy pale lace get-up is doing NOTHING for her. Amber had the courage to show up for the Glamour 2016 Women of the Year event in this dress and she gave everyone something to talk about besides her divorce.

IS THAT IMAN WEARING SHADES ON THE SUBWAY?

It’s always fun to see a celebrity on the subway – especially when they think their low key undercover look has everyone fooled. Iman, 61, successfully rode the subway in Manhattan almost undetected – she played down her supermodel glamour in a puffy coat, sneakers, a flowing wig, and the dead giveaway – big sunglasses. (Sunglasses on a hazy New York day are a bit odd.) She hasn’t been seen out a lot since her husband David Bowie died. Iman still has her cosmetics company to run and a sixteen year old daughter to keep her eye on.

LEONARD COHEN NEVER LOOKED LIKE A JERK IN A BASEBALL CAP

What are we going to miss MOST about the late Leonard Cohen? The fact that he always dressed like a MAN, not a boy. We never ONCE saw Cohen wearing the object we hate MOST: the dreaded BASEBALL CAP! The baseball cap should only be worn by boys playing ball or desperate men losing their hair, occasionally on the beach, and NEVER indoors. If we never had to look at another dopey man-boy in a baseball cap and cargo shorts the world would be a better place.

MICKEY ROURKE: FROM SEXY LEADING MAN TO THIS

Mickey Rourke, 64, is smart to carry a cuddly little lap dog because it makes him look less scarey. If YOU saw this muscular guy walking toward you in a dim alley, wouldn’t YOU find another route? A few years back, Mickey claims he had plastic surgery to fix damage he got in the boxing ring, but we don’t believe him. Have you ever seen another boxer turn out like this? He’s had multiple facelifts and injectibles. His face changes each time we see it – not to mention his HAIR. He has quite a wardrobe of wigs now, but it must be hard to get acting jobs. He’s probably the most tragic male plastic surgery victim in Hollywood. But he’s still fascinating.

Behind out backs, tattoo artist Kat Von D, 34, appears to have been cultivating a Kardashian style rear end! It became quite evident when Kat was seen shopping in West Hollywood in a skin tight red outfit. Besides her work at High Voltage Tattoo, the former star of L.A. Ink has become a makeup tycoon – her cruelty free collection at Sephora has been increasing in popularity for eight years. Maybe the Kardashians are her business – and her butt- inspiration.

LETS TALK ABOUT EZRA MILLER

For whatever reason, we never get tired of looking at Ezra Miller. He’s 24 now and he’s been growing up nicely ever since we first saw him as Tilda Swinton’s malevolent son in “We Need to Talk About Kevin.” He always has that look on his face that implies he knows EVERYTHING. Currently he’s promoting his film “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” and will appear as The Flash in his next two movies. So he doesn’t have to worry about money any more…
