ZAYN MALIK: LETTING HIMSELF GO?

We happen to think Zayn Malik was drop-dead gorgeous when he was in One Direction– but since he unceremoniously quit, he hasn’t seen any of his former band members – or his barber either! He’s been living as a recluse on that Pennsylvania farm with his almost two year old daughter Khai since he and Gigi Hadid split in Oct 2021. Zayn and Gigi share custody. We used to see Gigi pushing Khai in her stroller around NYC, but she’s been invisible since the split. The parents must have a “no publicity for the baby” agreement so Khai is a recluse like her dad. Meanwhile, Zayn has been growing out his hair (from a shaved head) and he wears it in the style of a surfer (or a homeless person, depending on who’s looking) and now he’s selling sweatshirts and t-shirts to fans with his “art” on them called Paynt by Zayn. You can buy the hoody he’s wearing for $70.

YOLANDA HADID: FROM MODEL MOM TO VILLAIN

Former Real Housewife of Beverly Hills Yolanda Hadid is having a bad year. First she managed to cause the break-up of her daughter Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik, the father of her 1 year old child. It seems Yolanda was on their Pennsylvania farm with Zayn and the baby and they had an argument. Yolanda claimed that Zayn not only insulted her but physically assaulted her. She pressed charges and Zayn pleaded “No contest” although he denied charges to the press. Zayn and Gigi haven’t been seen together since. This week Yolanda’s other daughter Bella Hadid admitted to Vogue that she had a nose job at the age of 14 that she now regrets. The internet blew up with fans jumping all over Yolanda – calling her a horrible mother for allowing a 14 year old to have plastic surgery.

NOTHING GOOD CAN COME OF THIS

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik were a bad match from the start. She’s a hard-working model, grateful for her success and filled with ambition. She is very sociable and aims to develop a career as a TV personality or correspondent. Grateful seems not to be in Zayn’s vocabulary – the drop-dead handsome singer just walked away from his One Direction group at the height of their popularity, left the other guys in the lurch, and petulantly complained that he was “anxious” and couldn’t tolerate all the public attention. Instead of addressing his anxiety problem, he moved to a remote ranch in Pennsylvania. He even uses his baby daughter as an excuse for being reclusive. These are all the ingredients for a huge custody battle over his and Gigi’s child that he keeps hidden.

GIGI HADID FRANTICALLY TRYING TO CALM EVERYONE DOWN

We can just imagine Gigi Hadid on the phone right now with her mother Yolanda, BEGGING her NOT to file a police report about Zayn Malik supposedly hitting her mother during an argument. Malik admits to having a verbal altercation with Gigi’s mom at her Pennsylvania ranch, but he vehemently denies striking her. His fans are in an uproar and he’s been trying to de-escalate the situation on Twitter without success. Some are even assuming that Zayn and Gigi have split up, which has not happened YET. THE LUCKIEST GUY IN NEW YORK

He enjoys NOT being noticed SO much that Zayn Malek will probably continue wearing a mask long after everyone else has stopped, in spite of the fact that he was blessed with drop-dead good looks. He’s also lucky to have a girlfriend (Gigi Hadid) who is not only gorgeous but VERY successful, and she just gave birth to his child with no marriage commitment. Zayn blames extreme anxiety for his antisocial behavior, but he should have gotten a grip on it by now. In 2015 he walked out on perhaps the most successful music group of all time – One Direction -at the height of their popularity, and left his bandmates in SHOCK. He didn’t even try to explain or mend friendships with them. Why? He says he wants to have a solo career, but backed out of touring. Zayn is extremely lucky, but remains his own worst enemy.
