WORST DRESSED AGAIN: DEMI LOVATO NEEDS FASHION REHAB

Not only is Demi Lovato, 25, more than 5 years sober, but she actually BOUGHT the rehab where she was treated in 2011. She credits much of her present success to the CAST Centers clinic that she now owns. Too bad this cute performer is so frequently on our Worst Dressed list. She’s in New York promoting her new album Tell Me You Love Me, dressed in this dreadful get-up. The bulky orange corduroy shirt hanging off her shoulder adds about 20 pounds and the garter pants are shapeless and too short. Real or fake, that hair does NOT improve the look. Fashion Rehab would also be a good investment.

TEYANA TAYLOR: DOORS ARE OPENING EVERYWHERE

Teyana Taylor, 26, became a celebrity almost overnight last year when Kanye West’s Fade video was released. Her oily gyrations to Kanye’s music displayed her amazing body and inspired gym rats everywhere. Her life just keeps getting better- she’s recording her own album, she modeled lingerie on the catwalk for New York Fashion Week, and now she’s turning heads in Miami with her three year old daughter Junie.

YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT CHRISTIAN BALE DID TO LOOK LIKE DICK CHENEY

Here’s a body transformation that not even Robert DeNiro has ever attempted. Not only did Christian Bale pack on lots of pounds for his role as Vice President Dick Cheney in Backseat, but he went the extra mile by bleaching his eyebrows and sculpting his NECK. According to The Hollywood Reporter, after gaining weight, Bale felt his neck wasn’t thick enough so he hired a trainer to bulk up ONLY his neck muscles, working out in the gym. The movie has started filming (above) and we never would have recognized Bale.

EVEN TYRA BANKS COULDN’T STOP RITA ORA

Rita Ora can do more than just wear clothes well. The British singer/songwriter is filming a music video in Manhattan and she knows how to attract attention. She had a big career setback when Tyra Banks decided to retire and she hired Rita to take her place as host of America’s Next Top Model. It was a big deal for Rita, but after only one season Tyra didn’t like how the show was going and she fired Rita and returned to host herself. It must have been devastating, but Rita’s put it behind her.

WILL THE REAL KIM CATTRALL PLEASE STAND UP

Kim Cattrall’s bold character Samantha on Sex & the City was probably the most popular of the four leading women – especially among gays. Maybe that’s why she was resentful toward Sarah Jessica Parker because her Carrie was officially the STAR of the popular show. Personally, we would love to have followed these women into their 50’s and 60’s in a third movie. Everyone loved the script- so why did Kim lead everyone on and then back out at the last minute? Why wouldn’t she go through with the movie to please her costars and pocket the money? How many offers does she GET? Kim called HER COSTARS “toxic.” In reality, Kim was always the toxic one – Sarah happens to be a genuinely decent and kind person. Kim’s decision means a lot of people won’t be working and fans will be disappointed. Actually, we’d be happy to see the movie made without Kim.

JOSH BROLIN : NO PERSONAL TRAINERS NEEDED

You don’t often see a superhero pushing a shopping cart, but Josh Brolin’s time traveling mutant character “Cable” from Deadpool 2 couldn’t resist the bargains on automatic weapons and ammunition at an Army & Navy store in Vancouver where the movie is filming. It looks like Brolin didn’t have to lift a finger in the gym working out to LOOK like a superhero, because his suit has all the muscles built in. These ”supersuits” can really enhance an ordinary body.

ELVIS WOULD BE PROUD OF HIS GRANDDAUGHTER RILEY KEOUGH

Riley(The Girlfriend Experience) Keough, 26, is in Paris and she’s looking quite sophisticated and self-assured. In case you’ve forgotten, she comes from a unique background – her mother Lisa Marie Presley was raised a Scientologist and Michael Jackson became her stepfather when Riley was 6. Her mother divorced Michael after 2 years and fortunately she eventually left Scientology. In the past, Riley modeled (Dolce & Gabbana) but for the past few years she’s been making movies non-stop. She has 3 (besides Logan Lucky) being released this year, and 5 next year.

KAIA GERBER AND CINDY CRAWFORD: MOTHER KNOWS BEST

Kaia Gerber opened the Spring 2018 show at Chanel in Paris with considerable fanfare, and did her best to make this peculiar fringed outfit with the transparent vinyl boots appear lust-worthy. She’s got the whole catwalk routine down pat, thanks to coaching from her mother Cindy Crawford. Ironically, Cindy caused QUITE a stir and an explosion of flashbulbs outside when she arrived looking fabulous – and took her seat in the front row.

SALMA HAYEK IS NOT AFRAID OF HEIGHTS

Mariah Carey could learn a thing or two from Salma Hayek. Salma turned up dressed to kill for the Giambattista Valli fashion presentation in Paris – she’s obliged to look fabulous because she married into a fashion empire. We can’t take our eyes off her SHOES – the highest heels we’ve seen since Lady Gaga. To her credit, 5’2” Salma can actually walk unassisted in these stilettos – Mariah needs two men to hold her up. She did sit down at the earliest opportunity, however.

VICTORIA & ABDUL AND THE FLORIDA PROJECT ARE BOTH ENDS OF THE SPECTRUM

We were lucky to see two excellent movies last weekend and they couldn’t have been more different.
Victoria & Abdul is a crowd pleaser – surprisingly entertaining and humorous. There’s nothing funnier than the uptight English making fun of THEMSELVES. Beautifully written, and the visuals of the voluptuous royal lifestyle and the palace are breathtaking. It’s a very personal view of Queen Victoria and her odd friendship with an Indian servant. Heartwarming.

The Florida Project is not easy to like – the theater was more than half empty and several people walked OUT. It starts out with a joyful pack of young mischievous kids – their language is harsh and they know far too much for their ages. It becomes obvious that they live with family members on government assistance in a dreary motel in Orlando, Florida, not far from Disneyworld. My first thought: this is how the other half lives. These families struggled for life basics and their kids seemed doomed to repeat the same mistakes as their parents. It’s a painful dose of reality, but mesmerizing and heartbreaking and wonderful.
