CHLOE SEVIGNY AND LUKA SABBAT HAVE PLENTY TO TALK ABOUT

Luka Sabbat might be half of Chloe Sevigny’s age, but they look like a cute and plausible couple – and they do have something important in common: an obsession with fashion. Chloe’s eccentric style while walking around New York got her a big spread in the New Yorker magazine and that led to her first acting job. Luka grew up around fashion – his parents were both in the fashion biz, resulting in Luka’s idiosyncratic fashion sense. They attended Marc Jacobs’ wedding reception together and left with their party favors: designer vaping pens and hoodies featuring two Otters in love, saying “Don’t float away.”

DRAKE GETS AWAY WITH IT

Drake doesn’t dress like a rapper when he goes to Annabel’s nightclub in London – but he definitely dresses to impress. And he has one specific person in mind to impress – someone he doesn’t want anyone to know about. Moments after Drake made an entrance at the front of the club, this unidentified sexy young woman was dropped off by Drake’s employees and oozed into the BACK entrance of the club! We’re guessing that Drake is juggling a few women in the UK – he was also reportedly seen sneaking around with Lateysha Grace, who appeared on Big Brother there.

TWO ENGLISH HEARTTHROBS: ROBERT PATTINSON AND DAVE DAVIES

At last! We caught Robert Pattinson actually SMILING! Like Victoria Beckham, Robert manages to maintain a neutral face whenever confronted by a camera. He’s in New York promoting his new movie High Life in which he plays a criminal who volunteers to participate in a mission to outer space. What made Robert smile? Dave Davies from The Kinks! Like almost everyone else, Robert is a Kinks fan. In the pic Robert seems to be blushing with excitement. The mysterious actor was reportedly a very nice guy – gracious and polite.

ROD SERLING MUST BE SPINNING IN HIS GRAVE

We’re not sure if we overestimated Jordan Peele, or he had little to do with the new Twilight Zone on CBS, but it was a HUGE disappointment. We only saw the first free episode with Kumail Nanjiani, who was excellent as a failing stand-up comic. Unlike the original Twilight Zone, the writing was beyond amateur and the plot barely worth the effort. This lame and muddled mess could ruin Peele’s reputation, and we will NOT be signing up for CBS All Access.

SETH ROGEN HAS A WAY WITH WOMEN?

Hollywood loves to make movies about less than average looking men who attract drop dead gorgeous women because the guys have an appealing “personality.” Average males love to see Seth Rogen play these roles because it gives them aspirational hope. Seth and Charlize Theron are promoting their new film, Long Shot, and they even look a little awkward standing together in this photo. Funny, you never see movies about attractive men falling for homely women with great “personalities”…

PET SEMATARY : SOMETIMES DEAD IS BETTER

We feel a little sorry for Jason Clarke (center) because he has to make so many public appearances promoting his new movie Pet Sematary and it’s NOT easy it’s to find good things to say about it! We would describe the film in one word: GRUESOME. It starts out with a pleasant and likeable family that moves to a small town in the Northeast – just as we are starting to like them, horrible things happen. Huge trucks roar by, animals and people are slaughtered, followed by funerals and resurrections. The characters we liked are “not the same” to put MILDLY, and we would not recommend this film to anyone prone to depression or anxiety. (Stay away, Britney Spears!) Of course, we know there are guys out there who will devour every lurid moment of it…

She’s one of the wealthiest young women we know, but Paris Jackson has nothing in common with the acquisitive Paris Hilton. Jackson doesn’t seem to lust for jewelry or Ferraris, THIS Paris just wants to go CAMPING for her 21st birthday! She and her boyfriend Gabriel Glenn stopped at Ralph’s to pick up a few things for their camping trip!

LORI LOUGHLIN’S “RICH PEOPLES PROBLEMS” JUST GOT WORSE!

Lori Loughlin looked very cute and composed for her first appearance before the judge in a federal courthouse in Boston today. Her charges, of course, are that she bribed and cheated to get her daughter admitted to elite colleges. (Felicity Huffman wore a black suit and looked a bit less confident.) Lori cannot leave the country and she has lost her development deal at Lifetime, but the REALLY bad news is that her odds of doing time in prison for her crime are getting higher. She COULD be sentenced to 5 years for her felonies, but it’s predicted that she is most likely to serve from 6 months to 2 years. Prosecutors want to set an example and treat her like a criminal of average means.

TIFFANY HADDISH AND HER LOUSY EXCUSE FOR WEARING FUR

A few months age, Tiffany Haddish posted a photo of herself wearing a fur vest on Instagram, happily explaining “I’m going to wear fur every day until the police stop killing black >people. So sorry PETA, don’t be mad at me – be mad at the police!” Kareem Abdul Jabbar questioned the connection between wearing fur and stopping police brutality against people of color in The Hollywood Reporter. He pointed out ”Those committing brutality against other humans aren’t going to be concerned about brutality against animals. And how does needlessly harming an animal for no other reason than to gild one’s ego improve humanity? Jabbar finds Tiffany “charming and talented” but he felt her form of free speech might make the public take the issue of police brutality less seriously. And he doesn’t like the idea of wearing fur, either…

BAD BOYS BAD BOYS, WHATCHA GONNA DO?

It’s been almost 25 years since Will Smith and Martin Lawrence played hip young Miami cops in the first Bad Boys action comedy movie, and it was a box office bonanza. They managed to pull together a Bad Boys II in 2006, and it was an even BIGGER hit. A third film in the franchise percolated around Hollywood for 13 years before it came together and Bad Boys For Life is now filming in Miami with Will and Martin and two new acclaimed directors from Belgium. Martin and Will are now old-school cops in their 50’s (but just as funny) and they are called in to work on a drug case with hotshot young detectives. What could possibly go wrong?
