LONG BEFORE KIM BASINGER MET PRINCE

It was a nice surprise when Ireland Baldwin posted this undated photo of her mother Kim Basinger on social media. She looks like a teenager and was already an amazing beauty. We remember seeing Kim up close and personal when she arrived at the 1990 Academy Awards – at the time she was quietly dating Prince (can you believe it?) and she wore a dress supposedly designed by him. It was an asymmetrical white satin ball gown with half a long sleeve jacket on one side and strapless on the other. The single sleeve had Prince symbols down the side. Her hair was also all pushed over to one side. A strange look for Kim, but it was a strange time in her lifeā€¦

OLIVIA WILDE AND HARRY STYLES HAVE SHIA LABEOUF TO THANK FOR THEIR BUDDING ROMANCE

Thanks to Shia LaBeouf, Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles are enjoying the beginning of a new romance (and we love it!) Shia is inadvertently responsible because he was cast as the male lead in Oliviaā€™s new thriller Donā€™t Worry Darling (sheā€™s directing and costarring) but he got into some trouble with past girlfriends charging him with awful behavior. Olivia has no time for THAT kind of guy, and she promptly fired Shia and offered the role to Harry. She was DELIGHTED when he said yes. She felt Harry was perfect for the stylized role (film takes place in the 1950ā€™s) and has declared him ā€œa modern confident male who is devoid of any traces of toxic masculinity.ā€ Sounds like the exact opposite of Shia LaBeouf. Anyway, the newly single Olivia got her leading man AND a new boyfriend, so 2021 is looking mighty fine!

This reality couple shocked the TV world with their recent split. They both appeared on a very popular show for several years and viewers were fond of their family. When they broke up, both their tv careers were in jeopardy but they each managed to survive. They both rebounded with new attractive partners and he astonished everyone by finding a dead ringer for his stunning ex. HIS new romance is most successful – mainly because he and his new sweetheart have something in common that he never had with his ex-wife. Heā€™s a huge coke-head and his new flame is as crazy about the drug as he is! GUESS WHO!!!

HOW DOES RAPPER FUTURE SUPPORT ALL THOSE KIDS?

How the rapper Future has time to crank out so many songs and videos is particularly amazing when you consider how busy is private life is. He spent New Yearā€™s Eve in a ā€œspiritual marriageā€ ceremony with his 22 year old model girlfriend Dess Dior. One observer joked that hopefully womanizer Future had a ā€œprespiritual agreement.ā€ It was emphasized that the ceremony was in no way legal. The handsome and prolific 37 year old rapper already has many legal entanglements with women and their babies. He has nine baby mothers and several more possibilities yet unproven. It must be noted that his spiritual bride Dess was wearing a VERY puffy dress during the ceremony, so #10 is quite likely on its way.Two years ago Future filmed his Wifi Lit video at our house and the place was packed with twerking women…(We made a cameo appearance in the video as the only fully dressed female)

KANYE WEST: BAD START FOR 2O21

The holidays were not quite what Kanye West was hoping for. Heā€™s been missing in action since the November election and surprised fans on Christmas day by suddenly releasing new music. Gospel music. Itā€™s a five song 12 minute EP for streaming called Emmanuel, performed by his Sunday Services choir. According to Showbiz 411ā€™s Roger Friedman, itā€™s been basically IGNORED. Whatā€™s more, some of the Sunday Services singers are suing him for payment. Was it the timing or is Kanye wearing out his welcome? His wife Kim has not featured him in any of the family holiday photos on social media – and he wasnā€™t seen in Aspen with them. Maybe losing the election and a flop record are more than his ego can handleā€¦

Somehow we missed this Charlize Theron instagram post from a few weeks ago and it’s worth revisiting. Charlize’s little girl made up her mom’s face and Charlize posted it next to makeup mogul Kylie Jenner’s heavily made up face and over-lined lips. She captioned it “Who’s who?” It’s not insulting, but a very subtle commentary on Kylie’s fakery.

HILARIA MADE A FOOL OF HIM AND ALEC BALDWIN IS FURIOUS!

Living with angry Alec Baldwin must be a nightmare this week since it was revealed that his wife Hilaria humiliated him by faking her personal history. During their marriage, Alec often affectionately joked about his Spanish wife and her habits. Why didnā€™t he get suspicious when he met her waspy parents from Boston? Did Hilaria also lie about graduating from NYU? What ELSE did she tell Alec about herself that we donā€™t even know about? (Wikipedia oddly lists her age as ā€œ36 or 37ā€) One person on Twitter revealed Hilariaā€™s true identity and many of her Boston high school classmates celebrated the truth FINALLY coming out. Hilaria is blaming everyone else for ā€œmisrepresenting herā€ and said she never reads about herself. Her confession ā€œYes, I am a white girlā€ has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING! Sheā€™s been caught red-handed. Alec is totally embarrassed and furious that Hilaria has made him look foolish – of course, heā€™s blaming Twitter for the fuss, calling it ā€œa vast orchard of crap.ā€ (Now’s a good time for Alex to review those anger management classes he took) Meanwhile the Twitter whistle-blower says she’s afraid volatile Alec will punch her. We wouldnā€™t want to be in Hilariaā€™s shoes now eitherā€¦

DAVID BECKHAM’S BOYS ARE CUTE BUT THEY’RE NOT SOCCER FANATICS

David Beckham is resigned to the fact that his sons are not following in his footsteps. Brooklyn, 21, above right, is more interested in photography and is now planning his wedding. Davidā€™s youngest son Cruz, 15, is a musician and aspires to have a show business career like his mother Victoria. Romeo, 16, (not pictured) is more interested in tennis than soccer. That leaves nine year old Harper to carry on the family tradition – indeed, she is already playing soccer every week (to David’s delight) and loves it.

PIERRE CARDIN WAS ALL ABOUT THE FUTURE



Little did we know that Pierre Cardin (who just died at the age of 98) created the suits that The Beatles wore in the photo that introduced them to the world. Their fashion was revolutionary at the time and nothing was ever the same afterward. Cardin was enormously influential in creating the mod sixties for both men and women- and design in general. He was openly inspired by the Apollo space program and futurism. Besides clothing, he designed textiles, furniture, and even buildings. Actually he was one of the architects of mid-century modern, which is so adored now.
