It’s a good sign that Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are still holding hands, even if it is on the red carpet at the Chaplin Award Gala in New York. They spent a lot of time thinking about their marriage and it’s likely that Michael is determined to make it work, if Catherine is willing. Michael has more to lose if they split, (the kids, for one thing) so he’s probably acting like the perfect husband these days. Insiders say they really ARE getting along now. Together they are a powerful celebrity couple – apart, not so much.

This is a couple who believe in marriage. It is a wonderful thing that Michael and Catherine Z. are mature enough to want to try to repair their differences. Unlike the Tori and Dean splituation, this couple appear to appreciate their marriage and the seriousness of being equal parents to their 2 young children. All the best to their family!!
