LOUBOUTINS: THE WAY TO A PETITE WOMAN’S HEART

Short celebrities can’t get enough of Christian Louboutin’s dazzling high heels with the red soles. Lady Gaga, (see photo above) Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, Penelope Cruz, Sarah Jessica Parker, Beyonce and the Kardashians are all addicted to the brand. So when the English National Ballet needed to raise funds, they asked Louboutin to design a pair of shoes to be auctioned off. He produced these ballet inspired eight inch heels made of silk and covered with crystals. We think the celebrity most likely to buy them is Gaga, and she’ll probably wear them rather than frame them.

  1. I need a foot massage just looking at those things.

    Gaga looks like she’s on her way to audition for the role of “Patsy” in the Absolutely Fabulous remake.

  2. @Denise, She really does look like Patsy there! LOL I can’t help but wonder how those odd shoes must affect her back. I don’t think our feet were meant to be in such awful positions (outside the bedroom of course). lol

    The wig reminds me of one of my wife’s inbreed (not literally, at least not to my knowledge) cousins. Anyway, it was at one of the yearly summer reunions and she brought her new husband Ray Lynn. I took an immediate dislike to him because he was always digging in his belly button for something and then sniffing it. Out of boredom, we inviited him to play cards with us. Needless to say the nasty piece of trash started cheating and we called him on it. He still lied so Unc Frank (who had been nipping from his flask) took him down with a can of Van Camps Pork and Beans. When Ray Lynn went home that night, he left minus two front teeth (they were rotten anyway), 30 dollars and a coon dog.

  3. Walt, I would give anything to have you in my writer’s group! Everybody would LOVE your pieces and lick you all over (well maybe not ALL over, but you get my drift…maybe we’d just lick your cheeks off [FACE cheeks!] but I can promise you, you’d be the new STAR of the group with pieces like this)!!!!

  4. @Reta, I am just not deserving of your kindness. Truly. I love reading what you & the many others share. You & I don’t agree on religion but there is great many of your posts I read and think “She beat me to it again. I was gonna say the same thing!”

  5. The super super tall ballerina with heels shoes, I believe would be a physical impossibility to actually stand in, well, at least in both at once. A Ballerina stands en pointe on usually one foot and the other is out while she twirls. In these she would actually have to stand bow-legged, her knees severely bent outwards. If she stood in them with her feet side by side, forward, her knees would be bent out forward, and she would appear like she were getting ready to leap! Impossible to walk in these!

  6. @ Walt Cliff:
    You are building up a fan base right in front of our eyes. Twon’t be long before you will have a long list of Pen Pals cleaning our glasses and putting on our thinking caps to keep up with your stories. As you probably know,there are No friends made quicker than the person that can make others laugh with fascinating truths!!
    Hello Denise:
    A few years ago model Naomi Campbell fell on the runway,flat on her a@ss wearing heels that were too high for her balance.
    The day that I am caught trying on a pair of shoes that resemble anything that look like those stilts, get me to the hospital,quick,fast and in a hurry, and don’t forget to call the guys in the white coats!!

  7. Walt, If you don’t write. you have missed your calling! LOVE this piece! It reminds me of the very best of Lewis Grizzard, or Clyde Edgerton.
    Thanks so much,for the much needed laugh, and Visuals. wONDERFUL!

  8. I think Louboutins start at about $800 per pair and goes on up and up….the price in itself is ridiculous, not to mention these torture things.

  9. I can think of better ways to commit suicide. Do these women not realize come one day, their backs, butts & necks will ache for eternity all for a pair of flavor of the month shoes?

    @Walt,
    Seriously, LOL, your stories are hilarious, my cousin too was knocked out cold by a can of Unico beans, you got to understand an Italian mama’s mentality.

    @Reta
    Your posts crack me up, maybe you & Walt could collaborate & write your own sitcom, I’d watch it, hey, anything’s better than what’s on TV these days.

    @Leo
    I recall that Naomi story also, problem was it must have knocked the manners out of her a$$.

    So guys, keep us entertained.
    Peace.

  10. I like the shoes gaga is wearing above.

    The ballet shoes are amazing, they would look great in my display cabinet.

    Walt, thanks for sharing (I think). I too would immensely dislike having to suffer in close proximity to that person. I couldn’t imagine someone picking their belly button…. so many levels of ‘grossness’. By the sounds of it, probably never got those teeth replaced, would give him something else to pick. yuck.

  11. @Leo

    Hey friend. Thank you. I really enjoy your posts too. This is a great site with an array of interesting and colorful people.

    Thank you. Grizzard was one of my absolute favorites. It’s hard to believe that he was only 47 when he passed.

    @Yoyo, Thank you. I agree with your comment on the committing suicide w/the shoes. I have a morbid vision of Lady GaGa’s obituary reading…..”the clot started in her foot and then moved……”

    @Cal , Your right, he never replaced those front teeth. The kids in the family use to mock him. He had a habit of saying, “Aint’t THAT the truth. After the reunion, He would say….”Ain’t THAT the truff.” LOL

  12. the shoes are O.K.
    but the price sucks on all fronts!!

    …………..Van Haren.

  13. @Walt, that story is a hoot. So many uses for Van Camp’s pork & beans, so little time. I do however feel sorry for that poor coon dog.

  14. Good work, Walt.
    You can exude a folksy charm when you want to.
    We have a few of those common hill types away out in Sooke as well.
    Don’t let em park their F-!50’s next to your nice wheels at the Costco.
    They’ll smack their doors into you for sure. Won’t even notice.
    Lucky beer swillin, belly button fluff picking, wife beater wearin, Troggs.
    Walt, google, Stuart Mclean of The Vinyl Cafe. You will appreciate his style.

  15. go ahead, buy them, with them you will get these other presents: ingrown toenails,joint replacement surgeries,bunion surgeries,knee replacement,hip replacement,and other broken bones when you fall,better wear a helmet whn wearing these things, and have a lawyer on standby so you can sue being there was no warning notice when you purchased these overpriced pieces of trash.

  16. Seems like you have massive stress to some degree but I Think that your tired and warn out and having to jump throw hoops and having allot on your plate could be a major factor…But for know you look really pretty and dress really nice and I hope your day gets better as it go along and it is best to take some time for yourself and just think about your future and what things you want to do over the next few months and stop and smell the roses.
