Helena Bonham Carter was a big story this week when she checked out of the fourth installment of White Lotus just days after production began in France. Here’s what we know. It all came down to a case of creative differences, because Helena thought her eccentric character should be played one way, while producer and creator Mike White saw it a different way. There’s actually NO bad blood between the friends, and they parted on amicable terms.

In more White Lotus news, Helena was quickly replaced by Laura Dern, and the role tweaked a bit. We can tell you this. Before Laura  agreed to sign on, her only demand was that she get one week off: the July 4th holiday. The reason? Laura is best friends with Taylor Swift, and Taylor is getting married to Travis Kelce over that time. Laura told Mike that there was NO way she could miss Taylor’s wedding, and even though he rarely agrees to let actors leave the set during the long production times, he made an exception-  because he knew Laura wouldn’t sign on any other way.

Donald Trump was in the news when he called for Jimmy Kimmel to be FIRED from ABC over that joke where Jimmy referred to Melania Trump as an expectant widow. Although Jimmy explained that the joke (ill timed because a few days later there was an assassination attempt on Donald’s life) was innocent.  He was only referring to the big age gap between them, but that explanation wasn’t enough to calm Trump.  Thin-skinned Donald, however, will never learn his lesson. Here’s what we know. Not only did ABC NOT fire Jimmy, but his ratings have gone UP since the controversy. Executives had a top-secret meeting with Jimmy, assuring him his job was safe and even offering to extend his contract.

Speaking of Donald Trump, he was also in the news for hosting King Charles and Queen Camilla at the White House. We can tell you this. Prince Harry offered to meet his dad in Washington DC in private as a first step at repairing their fractured relationship, but sadly, the King turned him DOWN. Our royal sources revealed that the King is just not ready to forgive his son for what he sees as a betrayal to the royal family.

Kris Jenner made headlines when she went on her daughter Khloe Kardashian’s podcast and rebuked rumors that she was unhappy with her facelift, and mad at her plastic surgeon Steven Levine.  Here’s what we know.  Kris isn’t mad at her surgeon, she’s mad at herself because she opted to have a style of surgery which is “lighter” so the recovery time is faster.  That’s the reason the results don’t seem to be as great as they initially were.  Our source says Kris still loves her plastic surgeon, but is planning to go in for a touch up, since her face has fallen a bit since the initial surgery.

Nick Reiner was in the news for a preliminary hearing in the murder case against him.  We know this.  Nick is trying to get transferred out of LA’s Twin Tower and into a psychiatric facility.  Since he is viewed as a high profile inmate, he spends most of his time in solitary confinement, and it’s taking a toll.  His family has pretty much abandoned him, so Nick has reached out to his few remaining pals about helping him with finances to hire an attorney since now he’s represented by a public defender who hasn’t been able to get him transferred.

Megan Thee Stallion was talked about when she announced on social media she dumped her basketball player boyfriend Klay Thompson because he cheated.  We can tell you this.  Not only did Megan publicly break up with Klay, she returned all of the gifts he ever gave her, including a baby blue Bentley, and numerous pieces of jewelry.  As our source puts it, Megan wants no reminders of what she now views as a huge mistake.
