FASHION WEEK MODEL AGYNESS DEYN TOOK AN UNSCHEDULED TUMBLE

Another high heel drama at Fashion Week in New York. Model Agyness Deyn hit the runway hard when her shoe twisted and her ankle collapsed. Miraculously, she was able to put the shoe back on and continue her strut without incident. Ironically, Agyness was appearing in the Naomi Campbell hosted Fashion for Relief-Haiti show. Naomi knows a thing or two about falling in high shoes herself.

  1. …….there wasn’t even HORSE or DOG SHIT on the floor, folks.

  2. Ridiculous and an example of gay misogyny. Designers are continually putting models in super-high heels and then sending them down runways that would be treacherous to anyone is a regular pair of men’s dress shoes. Models and their agencies need to take a stand, as a serious fall could ruin a model’s career.

  3. Wait until someone gets a compound fracture of their ankle or leg from these rediculous shoes! Just because they CAN be made, doesn’t mean they SHOULD! Stop trying to maim women!!!

  4. I truly believe the “fashion industry” hates women. They starve them, they dress them up in preposterous outfits, and now they force them to walk in ankle breaking footwear. The average American woman is what, a size 14? but yet, all models must be 6 feet tall and wear a size zero. And they wonder why young girls have eating disorders.

  5. These ” platforms” were designed for “stiltwalkers” not runway models.The models have to take a “stand”, and say,no way.Falling all over yourself is not a beautiful thing,in such a public forum. Those shoes are “made”to sit inside a showcase window,not worn on your feet!!

  6. Once again, Janet gets it wrong;
    Agyness not only fell *twice*, she didn’t “put her shoe back on”… after the second tumble she removed BOTH shoes, curtsied to the crowd and walked back up the runway barefoot! The crowd loved her.
