CORY MONTEITH: GOING BACK TO VANCOUVER WAS HIS FIRST MISTAKE

Glee’s Cory Monteith was probably the last person we’d expect to die of a heroin/alcohol overdose. He had that sweet boyish face and not a bad reputation, in spite of rehab visits. His drug buddies were apparently all in Vancouver. You can’t judge a book by its cover. How his girlfriend of several years, Lea Michele handled his secret addictions is a mystery. Another mystery is how quickly Canadian doctors were able to get the autopsy results- just a few days. When an American celebrity dies it takes at least a month to find out the cause.

  1. His death is great news for Glee. Means the ratings will be ever so higher! sorta like this idiot before he died due to his ODing!

  2. He wanted to die. Who at this point doesn’t know that hard drugs are a one way ticket to death, wether its tomorrow or twenty years from now.

Stop grieving people, move along, there’s nothing to see here.

  3. What a dipshit. I don’t feel sorry for him one little bit. This was a conscious choice he made. He paid the piper with his life.

  4. Autopsies cost a lot of money Janet. Who do you expect to pay for all the autopsies that you believe American people are entitled to?

  5. Or is it only celebrities who are entitled to free autopsies?

  6. Janet, it wasn’t Vancouver that killed him, it was his problems, his demons.

  7. Thank you Shelby. All these people want sympathy for this stupid drug addict, but for treyvon Martin people want to say his death was his own fault. A white druggies death is more important I guess.

  8. The articles say it was an “accident”. No, he intentionally stuck the needle in his arm, no accident

  9. @mama:
    What are you blathering about?
Everyone that dies under unusual circumstances will get an autopsy from the medical examiner.

And Janet, that was my first thought also, the Canadians get back the toxicology results in two days & the LA County ME takes six weeks!

  10. Actually, lab results are a half day process at worst.

  11. Sorry Becca, but not everyone gets an autopsy if they die under unusual circumstances. An autopsy costs around $3000.00. How many autopsies have you requested? Unless you are a corone making inquests? Move to Canada and then you too can have a quick autopsy.

  12. Blathering seems to be your specialty Becca. You’re not married are you? If so, I feel your husband’s pain.

  13. Of course “they” wouldnt be so dumb to reveal that mind control killed him so they come up with the same old record, the same shitty story: alcohol/drug abuse. Yeah, rite, and Ive seen pigs flying….

  14. …. or maybe he faked his death, who knows? Reality is stranger than fiction….

  15. I think that if he had truly wanted to get clean for good, he would have gone to rehab for longer than he did. If he had been an addict since the age of 12, it would take MANY tries for rehab to work for good. 30 days in rehab? What a lame attempt. He most likely only did that because someone asked him to; not because he wanted to get clean. His death is a tragedy, but he put himself in harm’s way by getting together with his old drug buddies. I feel for his family and Lea Michele. I can’t even imagine their pain right now.

  16. Addiction is a horrible thing. My sympathies to his family and loved ones.

  17. When a person gets out of rehab for alcohol or heroin, all it takes is a much smaller amount of a drug than the person was used to taking before rehab to kill them.
The guy is gone. Instead of criticizing him, how about a prayer for him. Oh, and I won’t be back to read any nasty retorts.

  18. In church we heard a whole sermon on the company you keep and the choices you make here. Janet you couldn’t be more correct. You want to escape a lifestyle? Start my your choice of “friends”.

  19. Heavy dope going around town. Abbotsford police put out a warning a few weeks ago and then a couple of days after he died.
The city{Vancouver}expedited his tox report because of the attention.

  20. Patrick thanks for sharing some light, yes, reports do indicate bad mojo on the streets of YVR for heroin users. I think this guy had lots going on, fame was way to much and not what he expected. He always appeared sad in my view and perhaps Lea was a beard for him. No one needs to get that blasted esp. when the world is yours. Something drove him to his ultimate escape. I’m not buying the hype here.
