NICKI MINAJ ISN’T FUNNY ANY MORE

Fendi must be recoiling at the thought that they ever collaborated with Nicki Minaj. Everybody had a laugh when Nicki Minaj explained her lack of vaccination by claiming her cousin’s friend in Trinidad was rendered infertile after the shots. The silly story blew up on the internet and reporters flew to Trinidad to “investigate.” Perhaps embarrassed by her ignorance, Nicki retaliated at the reporters who attempted to interview her relatives by posting their personal information online and encouraging her fans to threaten them. She herself tried to intimidate journalists with “your days are numbered” and called them names like “dirty hoe,” revealing herself to be as crass as some male rappers. Sorry Nicki, we treasure freedom of the press way more than we treasure you…

Gaslit Requirement Sean Penn Vaccination

LET’S HOPE SEAN PENN STARTED A PRECEDENT

It’s about time. We don’t OFTEN agree with Sean Penn but this time we have say he’s absolutely RIGHT. Sean laid down the law on the set of his film Gaslit with Julia Roberts and announced that he won’t show up for work until EVERYONE on the set is vaccinated. Crew members working on set and close to actors were required to be vaccinated but crew members not in close proximity were not. Penn is definitely throwing his weight around, but in a GOOD way. Free vaccinations will be given at an on-site clinic to make it convenient for everyone. Productions should have done this a LONG time ago and this might catch on, so Penn is doing everyone a favor.

JENNY MCCARTHY IS BETTER SUITED TO MTV THAN “THE VIEW”

We’re rarely able to watch The View, but feel compelled to join the masses of people irate about the addition of Jenny McCarthy as cohost on the show. As Linda Stasi in the NY Post put it – the show needs someone “smart – not smarmy.” She suggested the very entertaining Mario Cantone, and we agree. The fact that Jenny McCarthy is still promoting her anti-vaccination nonsense, which results in the spread of infectious disease, in spite of scientific evidence proving otherwise, is appalling. The Playboy educated McCarthy is pretty and outspoken, but dangerously ignorant. Nice try with the glasses.

JENNY McCARTHY’S VH1 TALK SHOW IS PROBABLY NOT A THREAT TO OUR HEALTH

At long last, former Playmate Jenny McCarthy has been called out for her unfounded medical beliefs. A Canadian cancer charity canceled her appearance at their event because of the dangerous and absurd medical notions she promotes. Jenny believes that vaccinations cause autism and hyperbolic chambers prevent cancer. A surprising number of gullible mothers trust her opinion. She publicizes her ideas relentlessly even though they have nothing to do with science or reality. Now that Jenny has a talk show on VH1, she COULD do even more damage. Fortunately, Jenny’s show has already been described as a rip-off of Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens: Live” so hopefully the subject of health will never come up.
