Suri Cruise was walking down the street in Manhattan with friends when she spotted these beautiful spring flowers in full bloom. She found them so appealing that she had to pull out her phone and photograph them from all sides. Suri just turned 13 and it looks like Katie Holmes did a good job of raising her as a single mother. Katie Holmes is giving her daughter Suri a taste of culture in Paris – they spent the afternoon at the Louvre looking at art. Later Katie and Suri went to the Fendi couture show. We can’t help but mention that Tom Cruise is not that far away in London. Will there be a secret meeting with Suri? It HAS to be a secret because Tom lives at Scientology headquarters in London like the one John Travolta lives at in Florida. Six years ago Tom sued In Touch magazine for reporting that he had abandoned his daughter, but in his deposition he admitted he hadn’t seen her in 110 days and ended up dropping the suit.

Suri Cruise is 12 now and she’s growing up to be a cute and happy pre-teen. As far as anyone knows, (and there are plenty of watchers) Tom Cruise has not seen Suri since she was seven years old because Scientology wants him to “disconnect.” Recently Star magazine claimed that Tom is planning a reunion, which might or might not happen – we doubt that they have any inside information. Tabloids are free to write anything they want about celebrities as long as it isn’t litigious or career damaging. Since Tom has obviously chosen Scientology over his own daughter, a reunion might not be such a good thing, anyway.

When she was younger, Suri Cruise looked more like her mom Katie Holmes, but the older she gets (she’s 12 now) the more she resembles her absent-due-to-Scientology dad Tom Cruise. Meanwhile, Katie is only 39 and starting to look like a matron. She cut off her hair for her new action movie, Doorman, with Jean Reno. Katie plays a Marine who returns from a devastating term of service and takes a job as a NY doorman while pulling herself together. She finds herself in the middle of a violent crime involving the building tenants. Sounds like a role Tom would have taken.

Jamie Foxx was nowhere in sight when Katie Holmes and Suri, 11, took in a Knicks VS Oklahoma NBA game at Madison Square Garden in New York this weekend. On Wednesday, Katie was in LA for Jamie’s big birthday party, but she didn’t hang around for long. Katie and Jamie’s relationship IS puzzling. When we heard that Tom Cruise broke his ankle doing another stunt on the London set of Million Impossible 6, several questions came immediately to mind. Did Suri, 11, call her dad to console him? Does she EVER speak to him? Tom‘s been living in London and has not been seen in the company of his daughter for years. Suri’s mom Katie Holmes has been declared a “suppressive person “ by Scientologists so Tom can’t have anything to do with her. Do you suppose Tom and Suri have secret meetings and conversations that Scientology knows nothing about?

It’s been awhile since we saw Suri Cruise in the bright California sunshine, and we’re struck by how she has changed! She always looked like a mini-me of her mom Katie Holmes, but as she grows up, Suri is looking more and more like her movie star dad! By all accounts, it’s been three years since she actually SAW her father, (Scientology rules?) and we wonder if this photo will stimulate Tom to get in touch. Above, Katie’s at her home in Calabasas and she picked up Suri after school and they went for a cold drink at Starbucks.

This is Katie Holmes’second time playing Jacqueline Kennedy, but there IS a difference. Her current film, The Kennedys: After Camelot is all about Jackie O when she was with Aristotle Onassis. Katie must have mixed feelings about her ex-husband Tom Cruise these days. On one hand she’s glad that he’s not around, BUT Tom has been neglecting their little girl Suri. Tom sold his California home where he used to love entertaining Suri when he had custody time with her. It seems he’s always working and has no time for Suri, but he sees his other kids (with Nicole Kidman.) Scientology doesn’t want members to stay in touch with relatives who have left the church, but celebrity Tom wouldn’t have such restrictions. So why doesn’t he spend time with Suri?
