BRADLEY COOPER’S NEW CHARACTER IS NOT A NICE GUY

Jon Peters must be highly flattered at the prospect of Bradley Cooper playing him in an upcoming movie. Nobody has admitted that Bradley’s character is based on Peters (they probably don’t want to be sued.) Peters launched his career in the 70’s as a hairdresser turned sleazy Hollywood producer with the help of his girlfriend Barbra Streisand, and he was notorious for egotistical bad behavior and accused of sexual harassment multiple times. (He was married to Pamela Anderson for 12 days) Let’s say he gave self-indulgent Hollywood producers a bad name. So He WILL be an interesting character for Bradley to play…

Fast and Furious Producer Producers Guild Vin Diesel

VIN DIESEL CAN’T GET NO SATISFACTION

Little did we know that Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel has been involved for YEARS in a battle with the Producers Guild of America because they won’t recognize his work as a producer on the movie franchise. According to Variety, the Producers Guild investigated Vin’s desire to be recognized as a producer by interviewing numerous key crewmembers on the set to determine his actual contributions. They decided his main contribution was acting. Diesel wants to be recognized as a legitimate producer because he would not only be eligible to get a best picture Oscar, but better bonuses based on box office performance. Considering HOW MANY “producer” names we now see attached to any movie, (what DO all these producers contribute, anyway?) we think the Producers Guild should make their standards clear and high.

EMILY RATAJKOWSKI: IS LOVE REALLY BLIND?

Here’s a bit of encouragement for guys with average looks. Gorgeous starlet Emily Ratajkowski and her barely presentable husband Sebastian Bear-McClard turned up at the premier of Uncut Gems and she’s dressed UP and he’s dressed way DOWN. You might wonder “What does she see in HIM? “ Well, he IS an “independent movie producer,” according to Emily, but he’s also a scofflaw. He hasn’t paid rent for his NY loft for almost three years and owes around $165,000 to his landlord. He avoids eviction by hiding behind a Loft Law meant to protect low income families. (Other tenants in his building are very annoyed that he gets away with this.) In other words, he considers himself an “artist” and feels he shouldn’t have to pay rent. Emily defends him, insisting he’s “not that wealthy,” but he’s listed as a producer on Uncut Gems so he’s far from a starving artist…
