Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are DEFYING all those internet and magazine reports that they’re splitting up. They turned up at a Washington DC partly arm in arm. According to written reports, the couple has been accused of having “physical” fights and Jen has supposedly turned to her exboyfriend P Diddy for advice. (Now THAT sounds far fetched.) Still, their smiles in this photo look strained and we can’t imagine either of them is easy to live with…

David Beckham has been sitting courtside at all the Lakers home games this year – he brought Victoria to a game, but usually he’s in the company of one of his sons. Except once, when he brought Marc Anthony. Another audience member sitting behind the two guys reported that David was intently watching the players on the court, but Marc never shut up – “he was facing Beckham and yakking in his ear like a chihuahua through the whole game.” (Was he talking about Scientology?)

HE'S A REAL CATCH

What exactly IS it that Jennifer Lopez sees in Marc Anthony? We’ve pondered this question since Jennifer backed out of her engagement to hunky Ben Affleck to take up with ordinary looking Marc. Early on, Jennifer confided to a close friend that Marc was “the best sex she ever had.” But we suspected there was even more to it. Finally, a friend who spent time with the couple has supplied the answer. “Marc is well mannered and incredibly charming. He seems sincere and genuine and makes you feel important. He’s very respectful of Jennifer and romantic at the same time. They are always considerate of each other, so it’s a pleasure to watch them interact.” NOW we get it.
