Lion star Nicole Kidman appeared at an award show in Germany looking like she should be at the Country Music Awards in the 1970’s. Her fussy frilly flower print pastel frock seems awfully unsophisticated for the Oscar winning actress. Nicole must learn to say no when designers pressure her to wear free dresses that she would never buy for herself.

Our first response when seeing this photo is “Who’s the handsome guy with Nicole Kidman?” Surprisingly, it turned out to be Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel and he looks QUITE different! Dev filmed Slumdog eight years ago when he was an 18 year old gawky British kid trying to fake an Indian accent. For his new movie Lion, Dev worked out and put on some weight, and turned into a sexy guy. The movie is about a five year old Calcutta boy who is separated from his family and adopted by an Australian couple. Dev plays the boy 25 years later when he finds his birth parents on Google Earth. And he’s getting Supporting Actor quality reviews for his performance.
