Leah Remini

LEAH REMINI WANTS JUSTICE AND SHE WANTS IT NOW!

Former Scientologist Leah Remini is our hero this week. She has been reportedly doing everything she can to see that Danny “That 70’s Show” Masterson goes on trial for three counts of rape – at least that’s what Masterson is claiming. Today Masterson was in court for a pre-trial hearing before a judge to decide if the case will go to court. Scientologist Masterson has hired one of the world’s most expensive lawyers, Tom Mesereau (OJ Simpson and Michael Jackson’s lawyer.) It’s estimated that Michael Jackson paid Mesereau 100 million dollars in his child sex case! Do you suppose the church of Scientology is helping pay for this? If Masterson is found guilty it will be a huge blow to the church – you can read a detailed account of the hearing on Tony Ortega’s blog.

LEAH REMINI : COULD BECOME A TAXPAYER’S HERO!

We love Leah Remini for creating her anti-Scientology series to expose the so-called “church” for what it really is. She is ending the series with coverage of the Danny Masterson rape accusations and how the church threatened the accusers. We were especially happy when Leah stated that her goal is to have the IRS reconsider the church of Scientology’s exemption from paying taxes – including property taxes – (they own half of Hollywood and much more.) Also whatever church members claim they spend on “training” is apparently not taxable! Leah Remini has an admirable and long overdue goal!

AS IF TOM CRUISE DIDN’T HATE LEAH REMINI ENOUGH

We have no plans to see it, but the fact that Tom Cruise’s latest Mission Impossible epic is a huge success will no doubt bolster public interest in Scientology and boost ratings for Leah Remini’s A&E series Scientology and the Aftermath. Coincidentally or not, we hear that Leah plans to focus on Cruise for the third season of the series. (The church started up its own TV network in March, which has been described as an “extended church infomercial” pointing out the church’s generosity and good deeds.) Because of the Tom Cruise scrutiny, our hero Remini admits she expects the church’s harassment of her will increase accordingly and she’s taking appropriate security measures.

LEAH REMINI HAS MORE INVESTIGATING UP HER SLEEVE

While we’re on the subject of Scientology, we’re not sure how long Leah Remini’s Emmy-winning series, Scientology and the Aftermath, will continue (hopefully a LONG time) but she already has her eye on another religion she wants to scrutinize. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Leah will produce a special for A&E focusing on Jehovah’s Witnesses. Remini aims to put an end to abuse in religions. She wants people to “have a negative feeling about church abuse and people taking away their money and families.” The special will air after season 3 of Aftermath, which, by the way, is expected to really agitate the Scientologists.

JENNIFER LOPEZ AND LEAH REMINI ARE READY FOR THEIR “SECOND ACT”

Longtime pals Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini are having a great time filming the romantic comedy Second Act together in Queens, New York. They play best friends working in a huge Costco type store who aspire to a better life. Jennifer’s character manages to use her street smarts when opportunity arises, and she reinvents herself, and turns their lives around. We love movies about women who succeed. We’re guessing the Scientologists are NOT happy that Leah Remini is doing so well…

ELIZABETH MOSS MIGHT BE THE SMARTEST SCIENTOLOGIST OF THEM ALL

Elizabeth Moss has managed to do what no other Scientologist/actor has been able to achieve – a Best Acting award for A Handmaid’s Tale. This puts her at the top of the heap of celebrity Scientologists, but she’s not talking about it. And she’s not calling anyone a liar. Not only does Moss avoid the subject of Scientology altogether, but she did carefully comment that it “hasn’t impacted her success in Hollywood.” That means people don’t dislike her because of her beliefs, but it also means she doesn’t credit Scientology for HELPING her achieve success. Certainly she is very aware that Leah Remini ALSO won an Emmy for her anti-Scientology series that is revealing the sinister elements that might eventually take down the “church.” Suddenly Leah Remini and Elizabeth Moss are looking like potential enemies. Or maybe not.

TOM CRUISE, JADA PINKETT, ETC: THE WAY THEY WERE

Back in 2007, Tom Cruise, his wife Katie Holmes, Victoria and David Beckham, and Jada Pinkett and her husband Will Smith were very chummy at a MOCA event in Los Angeles. Recently Leah Remini declared that Jada Pinkett was a Scientologist in those days, and still IS. We can imagine Tom and Jada working frantically to pull the Beckhams into their cult. Will Smith has always remained neutral, and we know what happened to Katie. Leah has pointed out that Jada and Will opened a Scientology school that taught the philosophy of L Ron Hubbard. Suri Cruise went there for a short time, and Jada’s kids too (what kind of education do they have?) Now the school is closed. And Jada says Leah is “a liar.” Sounds like a true Scientologist speaking, doesn’t it?

LEAH REMINI HAS THE LAST LAUGH ON SCIENTOLOGY!

Who knew the world was SO fascinated by Scientology stories? (It’s a GOOD thing.) Leah Remini’s Scientology-expose series has been picked up by A&E for another, longer season – ten hour-long episodes. It seems there is no shortage of former Scientology members who want to talk their horrendous experiences while affiliated with the so-called church. And viewers eat it up! The network had responses from people around the world praising the show. Scientology leader David Miscavige must be apoplectic – he always attempts to derail any negative publicity about his organization. (Indeed, he has set up a website dedicated to denigrating Leah.) Things are looking grim for Scientology and we have Leah to thank! Wheee! Scientology is one step closer to paying taxes…

KIRSTIE ALLEY: THREE GENERATIONS OF SCIENTOLOGISTS

Look who’s on a shopping spree in New York! Kirstie Alley is enjoying the after Christmas sales and trying to avoid questions about Leah Remini’s anti-Scientology documentary series currently showing on A&E. Since Leah left Scientology, Kirstie has declared her an “enemy.” Ironically, it’s rumored that Kirstie’s ex-husband Parker Stevenson is upset about his grandson being born into Scientology and reached out to Leah for advice. Kirstie and Parker’s son True became a father last June. He and his sister have been raised in the church and work there.

JENNIFER LOPEZ AND LEAH REMINI: STILL GIRLFRIENDS AFTER ALL THESE YEARS

There’s nothing more fun than lunch and shopping at Barneys with your best friend. King of Queens star Leah Remini worried that she might never see her longtime friend Jennifer Lopez again. Leah left Scientology in 2013 and has been very openly campaigning AGAINST the church with TV appearances, a book, and a scathing documentary. Since Jennifer’s father is still a Scientologist, Leah feared that Jennifer would turn her back on her. (Years ago, Jennifer publicly defended Scientology.) But Jennifer found that notion “ridiculous” and the girls are still besties.
