CLAIRE DANES: WORST DRESSED AT THE GOLDEN GLOBES

We’re not fond of women wrapping their heads in Arabic countries like Claire Danes did on Homeland, but we were equally turned off by Claire’s Golden Globes dress. We voted her worst dressed. Valentino must have been inspired by Eleanor Roosevelt to drape a pretty young woman in this matronly, ill-fitting frock. All that frippery – beads, feathers, whatever, makes the dress look heavy and droopy and Claire looks shapeless. The dress wore the woman in this case. Click HERE to see the Globes dress.

SUPERMODEL? NOPE, IT’S CLAIRE DANES!

“Homeland” star Claire Danes, 34, has come a long way since she starred as a teen on the highly praised “My So-Called Life.” She’s done a lot of movies but found her biggest successes on TV. Now that she’s married to Hugh Dancy and they have a one year old son Cyrus, those 14 hour days filming Homeland aren’t so appealing, but she loves her job. Interview magazine made her look more glamorous than we’ve ever seen her.

THE NEW HOMELAND STAR ALMOST MARRIED TOM CRUISE

“Homeland”
just got even MORE interesting. RadarOnline pointed out that on Sunday Nazanin Boniadi appeared for the first time as a CIA agent named Fara. This is the same girl who, in 2004 was groomed by Scientologists to become Tom Cruise‘s next wife. Vanity Fair wrote the revealing story about Naz’s training and three month relationship with Tom that never went anywhere. He went on to marry Katie Holmes, whom Tom “auditioned” for a movie. The VF story validated all the rumors about Scientology providing women for Tom and embarrassed everyone involved. Nazanin recovered from the bad experience, split from Scientology, and now she has a role on “Homeland.” A happy ending.
