Did Patrick Schwarzenegger post this photo as a message to Miley Cyrus? What could be more wholesome than a family portrait in matching flannel PJ’s surrounded by a mountain of fancy gifts? Patrick looks quite angelic with his mom Maria Shriver and his siblings. As we predicted, Miley and Patrick spent Christmas separately with their respective families and will probably cheer in the New Year together. While Patrick was behaving, Miley was posting topless photos of herself to give him something to look forward to. (Love those dogs!)

TAYLOR SWIFT OWES A LOT TO HER PARENTS

Taylor Swift is fond of showing her family the joys of New York City, where she lives now. She took her handsome younger brother Austin and her parents Andrea and Scott out to lunch at Locanda Verde restaurant with plenty of window shopping on the way. Taylor’s parents had so much faith in their daughter’s talent that they moved the family from Pennsylvania to Nashville when she was only 14 to initiate her career. And Taylor has never stopped thanking them for that.

Sylvester Stallone is puffing up with pride in his green velvet jacket because he’s surrounded by pretty females at the premier of The Expendables 3 in London – and they are all his! You can see the positive genetic influence his model wife Jennifer Flavin has had on their three daughters, Scarlet, Sophia, and Sistine. For awhile, it looked like Jennifer’s career selling her skincare line would eclipse Sly’s acting career – but he made a big comeback and couldn’t be happier.

“The Expendables” star Sylvester Stallone took his family on their annual summer vacation to the South of France. Stallone was very affectionate with his wife Jennifer on their yacht and he took his three daughters Sistine, 16, Sophia, 17, and Scarlet, 12, for rides on his jet ski. When they’ve had enough sun, Sly always takes his lucky girls on a shopping spree in the French boutiques. They all look like they’re having a great time.

You don’t see Mikhail Baryshnikov, 66, out and about with his family very often. Remember, he starred as Carrie’s boyfriend on the last season of “Sex and the City.” He’s been with former ballerina Lisa Rhinehart for 25 years, they have three children, and they married in 2006. But she’s not with him today – today he’s in Soho with his ex-girlfriend Jessica Lange, with whom he has a daughter.

THE JOLIE-PITTS HAVE MORE THAN A PASSING FAMILIARITY WITH AIRPORTS

Yup, it’s the whole Jolie-Pitt family arriving at LAX yesterday from Australia. Brad is leading the way. Angelina and the kids spent a few months down under enjoying the hot weather while she filmed a movie. 12 year old Maddox is so tall – he’s wearing shades and white earbuds in the back. Pax is carrying a large purple teddy bear. Somebody could do a coffee table book of this family’s growth just with airport photos.

It’s a nightmare for Kris Jenner– her own estranged SISTER is selling stories about the family to the tabloids! Karen Houghton, 54, can’t stop talking since she discover how interested the tabs are in her sister’s family! Karen and Kris, 57, aren’t close, but Karen has dropped quite a few bombs about her sister. She describes Kris as “obsessed with money and power – Gucci purses and Bentleys.” Karen talked about the time when Kris first moved to Los Angeles – she said Kris used to hang around country clubs so she could meet wealthy men! And she couldn’t resist saying that her older sister Kris (who looks younger) “spent about a million dollars on plastic surgery.” Kris claims Karen “has demons” (implying drugs or alcohol) and sent her sister a new Mercedes to get on her good side, but it didn’t shut her up yet! A DAY AT THE BEACH WITH THE ELTON JOHN FAMILY

On August 1, Elton John had an appendectomy just in the nick of time. He’s been recovering at his home in Nice for the past few weeks and finally felt well enough to spend a day at the beach in St Tropez with his husband David Furnish and their two boys. Their sons, Zachary, 2, and Elijah, 7 months, look more like Elton every day! We wonder how many assistants, nannies, and bodyguards it takes to accomplish a maneuver like this.

JANET JACKSON IS AVOIDING HER TACKY FAMILY

Janet Jackson is becoming more and more estranged from her family. Nobody in her family even knew she was married until they read about it months later. She’s been noticeably absent during her mother Katherine’s court battle with AEG Live and has kept her distance after Paris Jackson’s breakdown and suicide attempt. Since Michael died Janet’s five brothers have been pestering her for money and she’s been generous, but feels used. Since she married her billionaire Wissam Al Mana, she’s been keeping him away from her brothers because she knows they will hound her husband to invest in their questionable business schemes. If Katherine wins her lawsuit she will undoubtedly share the money with her sons and Janet will be off the hook for awhile.

Jennifer brought her boyfriend Casper Smart and her twins to celebrate Cristian Anthony’s 12th birthday. Marc Anthony brought his girlfriend Shannon de Lima and his other son Ryan, 9, is in the photo also. But conspicuously absent is Marc’s exwife and the mother of his two sons, Dayanara Torres. The former Miss Universe avoided the occasion.
