RUMER WILLIS HASN’T STOPPED DANCING SINCE SHE WON THAT TROPHY

It took us a minute to recognize this actress because the knit cap and sunglasses were distracting. It’s Rumer Willis, 27. She’s back from New York where she finished her stint as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. Taking home the trophy on Dancing with the Stars last season was the second best thing that ever happened to her. Winning Stars led to her Broadway appearance and now she’s getting lots of offers for singing and dancing roles. She’s currently filming a musical movie Hello Again, and she’s officially traded the title of “aspiring actress” for “working actress.” We’re not crazy about her look above, but she’s on her way into the West Hollywood Nine Zero One hair salon so she might come out looking better.

Rumer Wilis, 27, is living proof that Dancing with the Stars can change a contestant’s career. Before winning the dance trophy, Rumer appeared in a few forgettable movies and guested on a number of TV shows. But she admits she had no confidence. (Online haters have always been particularly cruel to her. You know who you are.) On DWTS she showed off her dancing skills and her lithe figure and she was DAZZLING. Broadway producers saw her and offered her the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago. Her Broadway dreams came true thanks to DWTS. For many seasons, the show drummed up fake romances for the contestants who danced with Derek Hough or Maxsim Chmerkovskiy for publicity reasons .(Imagine Kirstie Alley with Maksim!) Last year sparks DID fly between pro dancer Kym Johnson, 39. and her partner, Shark Tank billionaire Robert Herjavec, 52.The new season has started and they are STILL together, in case you were wondering. Kym is not dancing on the show this season – wonder why… (Above the couple was seen at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills)

It was SO nice to see Rumer Willis win first place on Dancing with the Stars. This girl has been tortured by online haters more than any celebrity’s kid or actress we know. For some reason haters decided she wasn’t pretty enough to be Demi Moore’s daughter and they relentlessly bullied and insulted her. She admits it was terribly upsetting and almost ruined her life. Last night she got her life back. She IS a winner, after all!

DANCER KYM JOHNSON GOT WHAT SHE WANTED

There have been a lot of faked romances to boost ratings on “Dancing With the Stars” but it appears that contestant Robert Herjavec, 51, really IS enamored with his dance partner Kym Johnson, 38. (He’s Croatian-Canadian, she’s Australian) Around the same time rehearsals started for the show, Robert and his wife (who resembles Kym) separated. Robert, who has a net worth of 100 million dollars, has been raving about Kym and spending a lot of time with her – sometimes in his private jet. Derek Hough remarked “He’s exactly the kind of partner Kym has always looked for.”

TOMMY CHONG GOT WHAT HE WANTED

Tommy Chong, 76, is delighted with California’s liberal marijuana laws because he spent nine months in prison for distributing drug paraphernalia (bongs) back in 2003. A former hippie, he remains an activist and wore an old t shirt to dance practice that says “I am not a criminal – end marijuana prohibition.” Do you suppose he smokes before he competes on Dancing with the Stars?

ANTONIO SABATO AND HIS WIFE BEATER

Antonio Sabato just changed into his dancing shoes outside the DWTS rehearsal studio. He usually wears a “wife beater” on hot days when he’s dancing. Has this slang term for an undershirt become politically incorrect? Marlon Brando’s character Stanley Kowalski in Streetcar Named Desire made this shirt famous and he was brutal, so maybe that’s where the term started.

Brooke Burke Dancing With the Stars Fashion

BROOKE BURKE-CHARVET IS SELLING HER ACTIVEWEAR AT THE MAGIC APPAREL CONVENTION

Brooke Burke-Charvet, 42, was shocked and hurt when she was abruptly fired from “Dancing with the Stars” last February and replaced by Erin Andrews, 35. But she DOES have other things to keep her busy. To the delight of buyers from stores across the country, she turned up at the MAGIC apparel show in Las Vegas to promote her collection of activewear. Her unfortunately named label is called Caelum (it’s a Latin word) and it’s both durable and affordable, with each piece under $100. Brooke wears it herself almost every day.

The Price is Right host Drew Carey seemed like a very ordinary nice guy when he appeared on Dancing With The Stars. Often there are romantic rumors about single celebrities and their dance partners on the show, but no such rumors appeared about Drew and Cheryl Burke, for good reason. Drew, 55, is VERY involved with a 29 year old porn star! According to RadarOnline, the comic spotted Niki Skyler online in a sex video and started sending her gifts. His generosity eventually extended to renting an expensive house for the “actress” and her son – close to his, of course. Drew is expected to propose to Niki IF she will retire from x-rated movies. JENNIFER LOPEZ AND MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY: LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

We can’t stop thinking about Jennifer Lopez’s new romance with DWTS star Maksim Chmerkovskiy. OF COURSE, sparks must have flown between them when he picked her up for the finale of a dance number at the American Music Awards in November. Maks admitted those were “the most stressful four seconds of my life.” Not ONLY because he was afraid he might drop her, but there must have been an immediate attraction, only fueled by the fact that they were both seeing others. Since then they have both shed their mates, and the time is right. We anticipate plenty of fireworks in this relationship: Maks has that Eastern European macho temper and he’s accustomed to docile girls who take his lead. Jennifer is also accustomed to being in charge, and SHE has a hot Latina temper herself. This is going to be fun!
