Lane Garrison, looking paler and thinner, is out of prison and on his way to rehab where he will be locked up for another six months. In 2007 Lane was sentenced to 3 years and four months in prison for a drunk driving accident that left one boy dead and two teen girls injured. While he was incarcerated, Lane took college courses, studying Spanish and business, and he was a model of good behavior. After rehab, he’ll be on probation for four years. Will Lane, who ironically appeared on “Prison Break,” still have a career in Hollywood?

  1. I hope so. He showed true remorse and served his time. The whole situation was very sad.

  2. He’s still hunky and a good actor. And he’s served his time. Accidents happen. He’s got another chance.

  3. He should get 10 years minimum. Then he should do 1000 hours of community service, such as going in to schools and prisons and telling them that this “mistake” caused him to have his a**ho*e ruined by many amorous fellow prisoners.
So, he’s sorry, so what, the dead boy’s parents will grieve forever.

  4. Everyone makes mistakes, even the haters who have already posted. His behavior from now on will show if he has truly learned his lesson. It’s a tragedy that the young boy was killed, but they had all been drinking. If someone else had been driving, they all might have been killed. Things worked out the way they were supposed to. We all deserve second chances.

  5. Anything is possible, anyone can make a comeback ..this guy manned up, took responsibility for his mistake and did his time now lets leave him alone to get his life in order.

  6. I in no way condone providing minors with alcoholic beverages or driving under the influence. I do have respect for Lane for not pointing the finger at anyone else and stepping up to the plate and taking responsibility for his actions. He actually seems like he has a conscience and knowing that you are responsible for the death of another can not be an easy thing to live with on a daily basis. Everyone deserves a second chance. I certainly think Lane deserves one.

  7. Get real. His alcohol level was twice the legal limit and there was traces of cocaine (this was confirmed by 4 news stations). What if it was your kid that was killed by a drunk druggie….then you wouldn’t be so forgiving. I agree with 5:57 AM.(badder than bad)…He should serve at least 10 years for taking another life, and then given community service making speeches about what he did. Just being sorry is not enough.

  8. Get real yourself, Biscuit. Is being bitter and vindictive going to bring that young man back? No it will not. Hate in all it’s forms gets to live rent-free in your head if you embrace it. You’re miserable and you do your best to make everyone around you miserable. We don’t have the right to judge Lane Garrison. He’s the one who has to live with this for the rest of his life. That’s a long, long time, and the bars are in his head, not in a building. He’ll never be free of them.

  9. He served his time. Let’s hope he can do good with his life. I wish him well.

  10. Repeat: What if it had been YOUR kid killed by a drunk? I know it was an accident….all DUI’s are accidents. If Lane had not been well over the legal number on the drunk-o-meter, I would have no quarrel with 3 years 4 months in the slammer. Ask MADD (mothers for drunk driving) what they think about it. They all had young children killed by a drunk or drug user.

  11. This man is a murderer and should be treated by society as one. He has also taken part in unspeakable and unnatural acts of a sexual nature while in prison and this can not be forgiven.

  12. Doctors say this killer should be able to sit down again in about 6 months.

  13. how many of you have left a family party, neighborhood bar or club at any time in your life and proceeded to drive your vehicle home. MAYBE YOU ONLY HAD 2 DRINKS! The point is all of us have probably done just what LANE DID AT ONE POINT IN OUR LIVES TO ONE DEGREE OR ANOTHER.MOST OF YOU BY THE GRACE OF GOD MADE IT HOME WITHOUT INJURING YOURSELF OR ANOTHER.ALCOHOL KILLS 6.5 TIMES THE # of people killed by cocaine heroine and every other illegal drug combined and all you hyprocrites focus on the cocaine. Well alcohol is a drug to and you do not have to be double over the legal limit for it to effect your driving.
