DREAMY JEAN DUJARDIN GOT A HOLLYWOOD AGENT

Hollywood talent agencies have been in a mad competitive scramble to sign up The Artist star Jean Dujardin and William Morris Endeavor was triumphant. 39 year old Dujardin (above, with costar Uggy) is well known as a comedian and actor in France and American women have taken notice of him since The Artist was released. His acting inspiration is Paul Newman, but he’s a guy who actually LOVES to dance and looks great in a tux. Now that WME has signed this lovable actor, they will have to rush him into English language classes because he can’t speak a word of English.

  1. Jean being the first name of a male and that distinctive nose, you just know he cannot speak a word of English. C’est la vie.

  2. It IS strange that he “can’t speak English”—if that’s really true; someone may be marketing him in the mold of Antonio Banderas or Penelope Cruz—neither of whom could speak English very well when they broke through in the US.

And “39?” Suuuuure he is. 😀

That said, he’s enormously talented—he’s gonna be the Next Big Thing, watch.

  3. Just read somewhere yesterday that the dog is retiring; he’s pushing 60 or 70 in dog years…

Jean must be calculating HIS age in Catherine Zeta Jones years LOL.

  4. Ah, and wanted to add: I see a remake of the Pink Panther series starring this guy in the future. Jan, you owe me a beer if I’m right! 😉

  5. believe it or not: THIS DOGGIE-AGENT JUST NEEDS GOAT-BONES AS PAYMENTS!!

  6. He absolutely does speak English and has been interviewed in English on television many times.

  7. He was WONDERFUL in “The Artist” and I encourage everyone to go see it. Just a delightful movie and I wish him much success!

  8. I can’t see why this guy would be described as “dreamy”. He looks like someone’s pervy uncle.

  9. I went to the movie, and about halfway through there was loud snoring from several sections of the theater…just saying, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.

  10. I saw the movie twice and I loved each screening! It is worth seeing a great change in a world of action crap and insipid scripts

  11. Well when he received his award for Best Actor at the SAG awards recently, he spoke relatively good English! And The Artist has to win best picture at the Oscars and best actor. Terrific movie.

  12. he’s the french Clooney,he doesn’t speak English (he learns his acceptance speech) and got full of himself
