Steve Jobs was more than just a brilliant CEO and billionaire – he gave us innovation AND style. Something sorely lacking in technology. We first fell in love with Apple products when these fruit colored computers came out – in blueberry, strawberry, tangerine, lime, and grape. Jobs proved that machines can be beautiful. We dumped our Dell computer and never looked back. (Above, Steve in 1999 with an early iBook portable computer) Check out this old Apple iMac computer commercial.
Apple Steve Jobs Style Thanks for the Memories
He was one of a kind, no doubt about it.
But that top pic made me smile. I always thought the ibook series was one of Apple’s few misfires: it looked (and still does, to me) like a life-size Barbie toilet seat.
Never saw too many adults toting those around LOL.
Anyway, thanks, Steve—and Happy Trails!
Jeebus. The, uh, new server messed up my name 🙂
………..these are the people who make things happen.
anyway: THANKS!!
Steve Jobs was a buddhist/atheist.
His partner Steve Wozniak (a previous contestant on DWTS) is Jewish/atheist.
You can draw your own conclustion as to where Jobs will spend eternity.
As an atheist/atheist, you appear to be fullofshit/fullofshit.
@Chicagoland – LOL! Barbie toilet seat, how true.
RIP Steve and he did it without government handouts and enabling!
He most certainly did his part in contributing to the way we live.
Stay hungry, stay foolish.
Rest in peace.
Just Sayin, what is your problem. I only stated their beliefs, nothing more.
We love our Mac Mini’s.
So where is Steve spending eternity Indy?
The big hard drive in the sky?
@ Patrick:^^^^^^Pls. refer to the last sentence of my first comment. Thank you.
Okay Indy, but I’m not sure what ‘conclustion’ means?
That’s a head shot isn’t it?

Steve traveled to India to seek enlightenment and returned as a Buddhist.
Steve’s signature turtleneck is made by St. Croix.
Steve is adopted and has four children of his own.

I was disappointed to read he went to court when his girlfriend had his baby, he swore he was infertile. She had to go on welfare. Long afterwards he changed his mind and supported her.

Patrick, LOL. Yeah, ‘conclusion’ is what I may get from banging my head against a wall, sick of nothing on the tube but politics and politicians non-stop.

Indy,
I think I have found a new delicious treat to watch each week. I saw the premiere of America Horror Story last night and really enjoyed it. The editing is a bit choppy until you get use to it.
The creepy ghosts on the show are incredibly horny! The hunky guy from the tv show The Practice is on there (Dylan something) and is buck naked throughout the show.
I love scary horror shows and movies. If you too, then you may really like this one!!
Ava, thank you very much for this information, but get ready for the following unbelievable statement:
I DON’T HAVE CABLE!
I’m probably the only one in the Free World without cable, but have 25 channels for free, and with other activities, that’s enough. 🙁 🙂
Indy, you are not the only one without cable. Too much for nonsense.
Indy, Do you have the fast internet connection through dial up ? I was thinking that probably Youtube or hulu.com might have it on their sites free soon.
I didn’t get a chance to watch the new 2.5 men but I did watch it later on Youtube.com
There’s more and more people that don’t have cable because they don’t think it is worth it or to $$ reasons.
I could probably do without it better than my husband or kids…..then again, maybe not. If the kids aren’t entertained, I would never get laundry done or the house cleaned. Plus, I work full time from home and office.
Who really cares….it’s not about posters!
ps) Indy, I guess I am just as bad or worse than the kids the more I think about it. I didn’t have cable or tv for almost ten years before I got married. (My family was kinda hippie-like. We read, went concerts, did community plays…etc.). When I got married, I sit in front of the tv amazed at the shows that were on. It had been years since I saw tv!!
Strom, Is there anything you like or love. ?? or anyone?? So what if it isn’t about the posters? why do you bother commenting about other people’s comments?
Why do you read the other comments and then feel the need to comment? Huh?
I think you comment because you are lonely. That’s okay too. Now, tell us about that book. Is it dirty? Are there photos?
You wouldn’t write anything racist in that book would ya Stromy?
Stromy, I bet that book of yours has scratch and sniff section. 🙂
Ava, I have the Fast AT&T Access, with of course YouTube, hulu, movies, access to about anything.
I love my MacBook, and kissed it every day after having worn out 4 PCs.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m glad that Indy and Ava made up. (I missed American Horror Story, thanks for the review Ava I’ll have to watch)
I also had a really bad thought when Ava asked if Strom liked or loved anyone: Could there be a (egads) Mrs. Strom?
Strom is a piece of work.
Isn’t she?
Lives in Calgary I think.
Steve Jobs most brilliant marketing ploy was to bundle older components in pretty packages and charge above marketplace prices for the finished products. It really appealed to Women who ate it up like ice cream.
Well, when Strom was Captain America, Mrs. Captain America got on this site and tried to bust everyone’s chops.
