MADONNA HAS TAKEN UP A NEW SPORT

Madonna wants you to know what she’s doing over the holidays. She’s SKIING with her children and friends – not in Aspen – but Switzerland! She claims her kids talked her into taking up the sport. Among Madonna’s group you can see magician David Blaine next to her son David. Madonna and Blaine were an item in 1998 and have remained friends through the years. Rocco brought his British girlfriend along so he’s happier than usual. Looks like a good time was had by all.

ROCCO RITCHIE DOESN’T WANT TO GO HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

Madonna is not going to be happy because Rocco, 16, is very involved in his new life in London, living with his dad Guy Ritchie. He has a whole gang of skateboarding buddies from school and he pals around with the likes of Brooklyn Beckham. Most important, he has his first real girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, 16, and she’s a pretty young model – so what else could he ask for? He and Kim were photographed leaving the Love magazine Christmas party in the UK. If he were in NY, his mom would be dragging him to Kabbalah meetings…

Girlfriend Guy Ritchie Kim Turnbull Madonna Rocco Ritchie

ROCCO RITCHIE IS LIVING IT UP IN LONDON WITH HIS MODEL GIRLFRIEND

Madonna is going to have a hard time luring her son Rocco Ritchie, 16, back to New York from London now that he’s got a tight circle of friends there. Rocco seems totally happy living with his dad Guy Ritchie. He and Brooklyn Beckham are best pals and skateboarders together, and Rocco turned out to be a smooth operator: he now has a beautiful girlfriend! He’s been spending almost every day after school with brunette model Kim Turnbull, 16, and she’s from a prominent family. Her grandfather was the famous sculptor/artist William Turnbull. Surely Madonna couldn’t object to THAT relationship. No word on whether he’s still following Kabbalah, but we doubt it.

LIFE GOES ON – QUITE NICELY – FOR MADONNA’S EX CARLOS LEON

If you’re wondering what Madonna’s ex Carlos Leon has been up to – it sure looks like he’s “living happily ever after.” Lourdes is very close with her father so naturally she was at his wedding three years ago to Zac Posen designer Bettina Holte in Denmark. Carlos, 50, still works as a personal trainer and the pair now have a little boy – one and a half year old Meeka. He seems to be a great dad.

ROCCO: ANOTHER REASON TO STAY IN THE UK!

Not only does Madonna’s son Rocco Ritchie prefer living in London with his dad Guy Ritchie, but he likes the social life there too. Rocco and a bunch of friends got together after school and his buddy Brooklyn Beckham was one of the teens. More important was the really pretty GIRL with Rocco. (Above she’s wearing a white jacket, and that’s Brooklyn, now single, in the yellow jacket with Rocco in between) When the group split up, Rocco and his potential girlfriend walked off together.

MADONNA: HEY ROCCO – SOMEBODY’S WATCHING YOU!

She may have decided to allow Rocco to live where he wants (with his father Guy Ritchie in the UK) but Madonna will keep an eye on him in her own way. Before the school year commenced Madonna had consultations with Rocco’s new teachers. It looks like she turned on the charm and plans to keep in close touch with the school staff from a distance. (Above, she appears to be buttering up a teacher at the new school – you can bet SOMEBODY will be reporting back to her!) She certainly DRESSED for the occasion – when is the last time we saw Madonna in a bow neck blouse and long skirt?

Flashback Madonna Photos

MADONNA EXPRESSES HERSELF IN 1983

The WOW Report does wow us sometimes. Occasionally they put drag queens on hold and feature something different. This time it’s a collection of Polaroid photos of Madonna taken in 1983. Richard Corman was a well-connected young photographer back then and he shot the ambitious 24 year old singer in her brother’s seedy apartment (She lived in an equally funky walk-up on E 4th St, full of thugs.) It was just HER and Richard in the apartment – no entourage yet! The photographer recently came upon the long-forgotten polaroids in mint condition. One month after these pix were taken, Madonna’s first album was released and her world exploded. Corman’s book “66 Polaroids” is coming out in the fall, along with an exhibition. (Love that rusty sink and funky kitchen)

Instagram Madonna President Obama

PRESIDENT OBAMA CAUSED MADONNA TO DROP HER PRETENTIONS – FOR A MINUTE

It’s not often that Madonna has an adrenaline rush that renders her speechless but meeting President Obama when they were both backstage at the Tonight Show did just that. And what a relief it was to observe Madonna drop all her pretenses of grandeur and giggle like a schoolgirl! She proudly posted an Instagram photo of them together like a delirious teenage fan. But her caption tells it all. She wrote: “A meeting of the Leo’s – A Cosmic Convergence.” She BRAGGED about sharing the same ASTROLOGICAL sign as the Prez, like a VALLEY GIRL!! (Do educated people follow astrology?) And she misspelled “Leo’s” – there is no apostrophe. Madonna loves to impress with infrequently used vocabulary words like “reductive” so she threw in the hardly appropriate “Cosmic Convergence.” But it WAS fun to see Madonna reduced to a groupie girl fan.

Brother Christopher Ciccone Madonna Married

MADONNA COULDN’T CARE LESS THAT HER BROTHER CHRISTOPHER GOT MARRIED LAST WEEKEND

So much happened this last weekend that few people seemed to notice that Madonna’s brother Christopher Ciccone, 55, got married – and that includes his sister. Of course Madonna and Christopher have had a tumultuous relationship. At one time the artistic Christopher directed Madonna’s music videos, helped design her stage shows, and decorated her homes. They were very close until she “fired” him and accused him of slacking off and substance abuse. (At that time he was also described as being “obnoxious.”) In 2008 Christopher wrote a tell-all book titled “Life With My Sister Madonna” describing Madonna’s MANY idiosyncrasies and to no one’s surprise, she didn’t speak to him for four years. Christopher says he and Madonna are in touch by email, but she was not involved in his marriage to British hairdresser Ray Thacker in Beverly Hills Saturday. As far as we know, she didn’t send a gift either.

Madonna Met Gala Reunion Rocco Ritchie Worst Dressed

MADONNA AT THE MET: ANOTHER REASON FOR ROCCO TO STAY IN THE UK

After four months apart, Madonna and her runaway son Rocco, 15, just had a nice reunion in London at the end of April. Rocco is still living with his father Guy Ritchie, but he spent time with Madonna at her London home and he took her to his favorite skate park. Madonna posted a cute photo of them together looking chummy. Then she flew home and dressed in this strangely inappropriate outfit for the Met Ball. Do you suppose it might embarrass her kids? (They will be teased!) She’s a shoo-in for the Worst Dressed list.
