Danny Glover is quite sensitive and does NOT want to talk about his Lethal Weapon franchise costar and good friend, Mel Gibson. Danny was in Minneapolis hosting a fundraiser for Native Americans when our intrepid comrade-in-gossip, CJ, from the StarTribune cornered him for an interview. He was all smiles UNTIL CJ asked a loaded question: “Do you have the kind of friendship with Mel Gibson that allows you to tell him when he’s out of line?” Danny frowned and squirmed “I have a respectful friendship … all I have to say is ‘I love Mel Gibson.’ What Mel and I say to each other is my private life and I’m NOT writing a book!
