IS CINDY McCAIN SAYING NO TO HUSBAND JOHN?
Are you reading something into this Cindy McCain situation? Her husband, former Republican presidential candidate John McCain, is against gay marriage and Cindy has always disagreed with him on the matter, but now she’s become poster girl for the NO on Prop 8 campaign. THAT’S a slap in the face, especially since her husband is running for senate again. We love that Cindy wants to show that “party doesn’t matter “ concerning this issue, and she thinks “more Republicans need to take a stand for equality.” (Personally, we’d love to see both parties become less radical and less religious.) Cindy’s the smart one in this family, but does her open defiance indicate a rift in her marriage? Usually trophy wives are submissive, but the fact that Cindy is quite wealthy makes a difference. She’s a hero in West Hollywood.
