Back in her “Klute” days, Jane Fonda rocked the 70’s shag haircut that decades later gave birth to the Justin Bieber look. It’s not just the hair – it so happens these two look enough alike to be mother and son. Justin is so obsessed with not having a hair out of place that we wonder if he will hold on to this ‘do long after it’s expiration date.
We’re impressed. Jane Fonda insisted that she was wearing one of the leotards she wore back in the 80’s when she appeared at World Fitness Day in Atlanta, Ga. She’s put her hip and knee surgery behind her and at 72, Jane is making a workout comeback. Her aerobics videos were huge sellers back in the 80’s, and now she’s targeting her own mature generation. (Many from her generation probably have bad knees today thanks to her vigorous aerobics!) We like everything but the dangling earrings.
It’s date night at Il Sole. That renowned filet of sole is a huge draw for the Sunset Strip restaurant. Jane Fonda and her boyfriend music producer Richard Perry are still a very hot mature couple – Jane feely admits she’s in love with Richard and despite the fact that they’ve been caught necking in a parking lot, there are no marriage plans. They had dinner with one of our favorite couples – Rod Stewart and his towering third wife Penny Lancaster. (Before he hooked up with Penny, Rod vowed “I won’t get married again – I’ll just find a woman I don’t like and give her a house!”
