CSI'S WILLIAM PETERSEN IS TIGHTENING HIS BELT
CSI‘s sexy detective William Petersen admits that summer hiatus has always been a problem when it comes to gaining weight. He usually returns to work a size bigger and THAT creates problems. Not this year. He invested in a home gym and hired a personal trainer to work him over twice a week and police his diet. Petersen says that the older he gets the harder it is to lose weight, so he’s determined not to pack on the pounds this summer. We love that he shops at Pavilions in Hancock park. Presumably that French bread is for his wife Gina Cirone.

Ty Pennington and his angry girlfriend made a dramatic last minute entrance onto a flight from Chicago to LAX a week ago. Just before the doors were locked, they nabbed the last two seats on the plane and Ty’s pretty blonde girlfriend/manager Drea Bock was annoyed because it was coach and not first class. “We should’ve waited for the next flight!” she grumbled. Drea was NOT happy to be rushed and struggling to find space for their carry on luggage. The male flight attendant cheered them up by offering snacks, headphones, water – everything free. Peacemaker Ty eventually managed to calm Drea. We were surprised to hear that Ty gets a bit nervous at take-off. An observer told us that Ty has a little ritual – when the plane took off he crossed the fingers on his right hand and sat very still with his hand on his leg until it was over. He did the same thing when the plane landed. Apparently Drea is used to it (they’ve been together eight years) – she paid no attention.
Why do rich girls like Nicole Richie patronize these discount nail salons ? Not only is it doubtful that the overworked non English speaking manicurists have any sort of training or license, but sanitation of equipment is highly suspect. And the heavy chemical smells from other clients’ nail procedures can be sickening. That’s what you get for $9.00. And don’t forget the lack of privacy – a perfect photo op!
Kevin Federline is NOT giving up on his musical career. He is investing his OWN money to produce a second album. The fact that his first album Playing With Fire was received with little enthusiasm hasn’t deterred him. He’s consulting with friends he’s made in the music biz, like Scott Storch, but basically he’s doing everything himself in his home studio. Nowadays he says he only leaves home if he gets paid to do it. No more clubbing.
