Looks like Jesse Metcalfe gave up the boozing and brawling for one night (just kidding Jesse!) and went in for some wholesome entertainment: bowling. He and his unidentified blonde date both wore bowling shoes and, according to another bowler, they were very cozy at the Lucky Strike lanes in Hollywood. At one point they squeezed into a vintage phone booth together so they must be fond of each other.

Eddie Murphy has been backed into a corner. Melanie Brown got her wish – Eddie went to Beverly Hills this week and left a DNA sample for his paternity test. Mel has always maintained that Eddie is the father of her little girl. Supposedly Mel went to the same lab for her baby’s test but the appointments were strategically arranged a day apart. Mel walked out of the medical building yesterday looking euphoric and she took little Angel-Iris Murphy Brown to Mr Chow for a triumphant lunch. Lab results are yet to be announced.

Monday night Britney Spears just couldn’t “get no satisfaction.” She had high hopes and got all prettied up and went out looking for a good time but it was an off night everywhere. She went to three clubs – Winston’s, Parc, and Josephs, but none were lively enough to suit her, so she ended up heading home earlier than usual.
Ah, the idiosyncrasies of the rich and famous. Montel Williams and his sexy, raven- haired fiancee Tara Fowler were vacationing at a fancy hotel in Honolulu last week and they put on quite a show at the pool. Tara, a former AA flight attendant, wore a tiny bikini and Montel was lounging on a chair in shorts and a tank top that showed off his four or five tattoos. (Who knew?) Tara pulled a bottle of nail lacquer out of her bag and, perhaps inspired by Lolita, proceeded to paint Montel’s toenails black one by one! Their bodyguard observed from a discreet distance. Later Montel showed off his painted tootsies in sandals in the lobby.

Last night Robbie Williams was looking dressed up and cool, but he was all alone with his cell phone at Teddy’s. Just the night before he had a party with about 40 people (mostly girls) including Paula Abdul at Le Deux. He wore a t shirt and jeans and after carefully inspecting all the girls, he picked the three hottest ones and left with them.

Sacha Baron Cohen and his very pregnant girlfriend Isla Fisher turned up at the Gay Parade in West Hollywood this weekend. They weren’t IN the parade – they were simply watching from the sidelines and barely noticed. We can’t help but wonder is Sacha is doing research for his new character Bruno – the gay Austrian fashion reporter. Sacha hoped to take the character Bruno to fashion week in New York, but since Borat it seems he’s too popular and well known to fool many people there.

Does Taryn Manning have a new boyfriend? She was seen leaving Parc this weekend with a mystery man. Last we heard she was “almost engaged” to actor Derek Magyar. A few months ago, when her JetBlue flight made a crash landing, Derek was the boyfriend she wrote a good-bye note to and they got more serious after that. We’re not sure who this guy is – anybody happen to know?
Ellen Degeneres’ relationship with Portia de Rossi is not as perfect as it used to be. While neither is cheating or anything like that, a friend of the couple says Portia is getting BORED. Her show Arrested Development went off the air last year and Ellen didn’t want her to work – she loves having her available. For awhile, being a lady of leisure was fun, but shopping every day started to get old for Portia. She wants her career back! Ellen’s trying to talk her out of it, and there’s some friction, but they’re trying to come to terms with this.
How can you NOT love a guy who was so crazy about his dog who died, that he wears a memorial t-shirt ? Adam Sandler’s beloved bulldog Meatball died a few years ago and apparently he has not forgotten his pal.
