How can you NOT love a guy who was so crazy about his dog who died, that he wears a memorial t-shirt ? Adam Sandler’s beloved bulldog Meatball died a few years ago and apparently he has not forgotten his pal.

I had the pleasure of meeting Adam when he stayed in the room next to mine at the Kahala Hotel in Hawaii last summer and he was an absolute gem. Couldn’t have been nicer. Down to earth, funny and sweet. I was never a fan of his movies, but became a fan of his after our encounter.

Sandler’s big heart makes sense. For a guy who acts stupid and annoying in his films, he’s an absolute peach in reality. I had the opportunity to meet him once and was astounded at what a gentle, sweet man he appeared to be…the type of man who would honour his beloved dog long after he’s left this earth!
