ROD STEWART: YES TO KIMBERLY, NO TO SEAN
We couldn’t help but wonder why Rod Stewart’s son Sean was NOT present when Rod married Penny Lancaster last weekend at that 17th century villa on the Italian Riviera. After all, Sean’s sister Kimberly was there. We found out that bad-boy Sean was NOT invited. Rod was not happy about Sean’s latest brick throwing dust-up and resulting lawsuit. He wouldn’t even buy Sean a COACH ticket. But insiders say Rod spoils his “little princess” Kim. Kimberly can do no wrong in her daddy’s eyes and he gives her anything she wants.

The press likes to dwell on Tom’s Scientology fanaticism and Katie’s supposed “unhappiness and isolation.” But photos like these of the family together with adorable little Suri prominently featured, makes everything seem idyllic. Suri looks like she’s learning to walk. At what age does the brainwashing start?
How cute are these two rockers? Apparently Joan “I Love Rock n Roll” Jett took a shine to Josie “Johnny, Are You Queer?” Cotton when they both performed at Gay Pride LA last week. Joan’s frequent companion, Carmen Electra, was nowhere to be seen this year. While many females in the audience drooled over icon Joan, she only had eyes for Josie. Jett was overheard inviting Josie to her upcoming concert in San Diego. Stay tuned!
Don’t underestimate the smarts of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Last week they turned 21 and had their private birthday dinner with around twenty-five of their nearest and dearest at Chateau Marmont. On Friday they had a BIG fancy party for 200 at their house and not only didn’t have to pay for it, but they earned money from it. But it wasn’t as much as they had hoped. They offered exclusive rights to the party and photos to magazines – hoping it would fetch a million dollars. The highest bidder paid $250,000 for the party exclusive AND paid for the entire event – another $200,000 at least. It’s a nice birthday present.
We’ve always been fascinated by Prince’s fashion idiosyncrasies. Here he is, dressed to the nines at an airport in Europe. What’s wrong with this picture? He’s outfitted all in black, but happens to be wearing white athletic socks and platform flip flops! We calculate those high heel pointy toe boots he favors are starting to rub him the wrong way. Wearing those tight boots on a long overseas flight could be a nightmare. Since Prince’s bedroom slippers even have high heels we are surprised to see him give up those extra inches for comfort. Especially for rubber thongs!
