Poor Rod Stewart took a lot of flak from the UK Daily Mail for stuffing himself into what they called an “alarmingly tight” bathing suit (aka “budgie smugglers.”) They unfavorably compared him to Daniel “007” Craig who has a physique more suitable to the tight trunks. Rod looks fine for a guy his age, but next time he should buy a more flattering swimsuit – in a larger size.
A reader just informed us that Sara Gilbert had her baby August 2 – a girl named Sawyer. Just what she and her girlfriend Allison Adler hoped for. They have a little boy Levi, that Allison gave birth to in 2004. Taking turns at giving birth is definitely a modern concept.
Many delivery people in Hollywood have something in common – they’ve all seen Jeff Goldblum naked! (Above he ‘s featured with Tim Burton’s ex Lisa Marie.) The actor is in the habit of nonchalantly answering the door without a stitch of clothing on! All THE TIME. One delivery person told us “He’s very friendly and acts like it’s nothing unusual – I try to keep my eyes on his face. When I told coworkers about it they said he does it all the time.”

Now here’s a classic Hollywood moment. Why would ANYONE take their TODDLERS to lunch at the paparazzi laden Ivy on Robertson? Travis Barker hardly seems like The Ivy type to begin with, but he thinks it’s a great idea. We can only assume he, like Melanie Brown, is using the paparazzi to send a message to someone – namely his on-again off-again estranged wife Shanna Moakler. We just can’t figure out what the message is.

Melanie Brown and her puzzling boyfriend who calls himself Stephen Belafonte are frolicking in Miami as if they don’t have a care in the world. Meanwhile her friends are worried – since Stephen came along she’s not socializing with them any more. And she’s not returning calls. Even her mother hasn’t heard from her. Is it because Mel’s friends are suspicious of her new guy? They’re just not buying his stories. Who is he, really? And who’s paying for this vacation?

All we can say is IT’S ABOUT TIME that Michelle Pfeiffer got her star on Hollywood Boulevard. Sometimes we have serious doubts about the so-called celebrities honored on the Walk of Fame, but in her case, we’re all for it. She’s a real star.

We love this photo of Jon Bon Jovi and his cute 14 year old daughter Stephanie. They turned up together at a school event in the Hamptons. Quite a family resemblance, don’t you think?
Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband Prince Frederick Von Anhalt amazed us with with the story about his recent robbery. He claimed that three “white” women held a gun to his head, robbed him of his “expensive” watch, jewelry, $1800 cash, and his car keys (but NOT the car!) and forced him to strip naked and left him handcuffed him to the steering wheel of his Rolls Royce. Bel Air police are investigating the tall tale but a source of ours offers a more likely scenario. Apparently Frederick is in the habit of parking in a very “cruisey” West Hollywood parking lot where guys hook up. After dark, the lot is always packed with men in cars looking for action. According to our eyewitness, the Prince is a regular – several times a week – and his Rolls stands out in the crowd. Our source’s theory- and remember, this is only a theory- is that perhaps the Prince hooked up with the WRONG companion and got robbed. In order to explain the loss to his wife and the insurance company, he dreamed up the naked story. Presumably we’ll find out more when the Bel Air police investigate. Or not.

It took us a minute to recognize David Faustino (who played Bud Bundy on Married…With Children) in this picture taken at Opera. He’s grown up, but according to IMDB he’s still only 5’3.” Anyway, his life is starting to look like his dysfunctional TV series. In May police noticed him at 2 AM in a Florida intersection yelling profanities at his wife Andrea, who works in a Daytona Beach tattoo parlor. The pair were intoxicated and David had marijuana in his pocket. He was arrested for “disorderly intoxication.” David has filed for divorce and now he’s in LA doing a movie and perhaps overseeing the medical marijuana clinic he invested in located in Reseda, Cal.
