Here’s an opportunity that doesn’t come along very often. The crypt directly above Marilyn Monroe’s final resting place at the Westwood Village cemetery is now for sale for $500,000. Right now it’s occupied by a deceased man named Richard Poncher, but his wife Elsie has decided to move his remains and sell the precious location on eBay to help pay off the mortgage on her Beverly Hills home. Ironically, Richard’s crypt is engraved “To The Man Who Gave Us Everything And More.” It’s rumored that the crypt was once owned by Joe Dimaggio.

SHANE WEST AND ZELDA WILLIAMS GO CLUBBING

Just because Shane West and Zelda Williams partied together at Bardot, don’t jump to conclusions. It doesn’t mean that Shane and his girlfriend of several months, Evan Rachel Wood, are over. In fact, Zelda (Robin Williams’ daughter) is a friend of both Shane and Evan. The three of them attended Shane’s celebrity studded birthday party at Bardot in June together. Right now Shane can’t decide whether to be a rockstar and replace Darby Crash in The Germs, front his own band, or just be an actor.

BLANKET JACKSON’S MYSTERIOUS ORIGINS

It’s funny that no matter how much information comes out about the backgrounds of Michael Jackson’s children, we still don’t know anything for SURE. Debbie Rowe is the surrogate mother of Michael’s two oldest kids, Prince and Paris, but we still don’t know who the father is or whether there was also an egg donor. Now it’s been revealed that Michael’s youngest son Prince Michael II (Blanket) was born to a surrogate mother who was a Mexican born nurse in San Diego named Helena. Michael paid her $20,000. But exactly whose sperm and egg were used is still unknown. The genetic parentage is still a mystery. It all sounds so unethical.

JOAN COLLINS IS STILL GOING STRONG

When we see Dynasty star Joan Collins, 76, out and about, having a good time like she is here in St Tropez with her husband Percy Gibson, we’re inspired by her zest. When Joan started out she was often compared to Elizabeth Taylor who was only a year older but already an established star. They looked a lot alike and to her chagrin, Joan was referred to as the “poor man’s Liz Taylor.” Elizabeth was always the bigger star, but now Joan has the last laugh. Liz never took care of herself – she didn’t exercise, and ate and drank everything in sight. She married eight times and landed in rehab more than once. Sadly, Liz’s self indulgence cost her plenty- she’s frail and in a wheelchair with minimal activity and Joan is still living it up. This could be a lesson to all.

WOODY ALLEN’S SUMMER PROJECT IS IN THE WORKS

There are things about Woody Allen that we don’t like, but we DO love to see his movies. Even his worst films have something redeemable about them. Woody writes stimulating dialog – and he’s prolific. We thoroughly enjoyed his last two features “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” and “Whatever Works.” Above, he’s filming his untitled “Summer Project” in the UK with Naomi Watts. He’s very secretive but the plot is supposedly about London’s high society.

RODEO DRIVE IS LOOKING GOOD TO JERMAINE JACKSON

Jermaine Jackson was never much of a Rodeo Drive shopper, but ALL OF A SUDDEN – he’s shopping with the best of them on the priciest street in Beverly Hills. Since Michael died, things are certainly looking up financially for his family. Suddenly Jermaine and his brothers are negotiating big money deals to perform and record tributes to Michael. He’d better pay attention because he already blew an opportunity for a European concert because the event was disorganized. Yes, it’s good to be on Rodeo Drive….

ROBERT DE NIRO; GODFATHER OR FOCKER?

Suddenly Robert De Niro, in his engineer’s cap and reading glasses, looks a lot older than he did the last time we saw him. Here he’s having an early breakfast in New York. He’s in the process of filming another comedy, “Little Fockers,” with Ben Stiller, so maybe he’s in character for that. Anyway, you can always recognize him by his distinctive moles.

With this new hair color, Kim Kardashian looks more like Jennifer Aniston or Denise Richards, than herself. Apparently she wants to have a fresh start as a single woman. Kim still hasn’t recovered from the fact that her exboyfriend Reggie Bush cheated on her in a big way. She doesn’t want another guy like HIM, so she’s trying out a new look.

IT’S GOOD TO SEE GUY RITCHIE HAVING FUN

Guy Ritchie’s having fun being single, but there’s only one female he’s been seen with several times. He was photographed in June with a pretty brunette in Malibu where they had dinner and were seen on the beach. It took awhile, but the mystery girl has finally been identified as dancer/ actress Mellany Gandara, 26. Significantly, she was recently seen with Guy at his pub in London. Mellany appeared in “Iron Man” with Robert Downey Jr, and he supposedly introduced her to his pal Guy.
