JULIA ROBERTS IS STILL THAT PRETTY WOMAN

Wow! Julia Roberts turned up at the Toronto Film Festival looking drop dead gorgeous! It’s no wonder she’s the face of Lancome Cosmetics – she look amazing without any touching up. Julia has a new movie, Ben is Back, in which she plays the mother of an opioid addicted 19 year old son (Lucas Hedges.) He unexpectedly appears at the family home on Christmas Eve, fresh out of rehab, and his mother is suspicious, for good reason. But Julia is in Toronto promoting her first leading role on TV- a psychological thriller series for Amazon called Homecoming, in which she plays a psychologist working at a secret government facility with veterans to help them transition back into “normal” life.

WHY IS KENDALL JENNER HIDING UNDER A BLANKET?

This bodyguard is guiding Kendall Jenner, who’s under that blanket, to her car as she leaves her friend Gigi Hadid’s apartment building in New York. We figure she and her girlfriends might have had some kind of skin treatment or injections at Gigi’s, or else she’s having an anxiety attack. Kendall admits she suffers from anxiety and panic attacks, and she often wraps up in a blanket to calm herself down. She even skipped a recent Paris Fashion Week so she could unwind for awhile. Right now Kendall appears to be between boyfriends, although she was last seen with Gigi’s brother Anwar Hadid.

DO YOU WANT TO DRESS LIKE KANYE WEST?

Kanye West is still hoping to be a fashion influencer by starting a trend of men wearing socks and sandals with formal wear. Kanye wore sandals and socks to 2 Chainz formal wedding in Miami a few weeks ago and the sandals were two sizes too small, resulting in considerable ridicule. (He claimed his look was inspired by Japanese fashion.) Today he wore black sandals and socks with his tuxedo to the Ralph Lauren 50th Anniversary event in New York. At least they appeared to be the right size…

NOT EVERYBODY IS MOURNING BURT REYNOLDS

Interesting to note that there are no exes or females weeping at the death of Burt Reynolds, despite the fact that he considered himself one of the hottest commodities ever to bless Hollywood. For years we covered the macho actor’s antics for Star Magazine and every year he became more unlikable. Literally every woman he either dated or married left the relationship despising him. Burt was the epitome of the egocentric and egotistical 1970’s man – women were good for one thing. Now reporters are cornering his exes for comments about his death and they have nothing nice to say – the best they can come up with is “We’ll miss his sense of humor…”
(It’s also odd that there are no photos of Burt with his adult son Quinton)

BEST DRESSED LIST: HAS PEOPLE MAGAZINE GONE NUTS?

By stupidly including (and pandering to) Kim Kardashian on its Best Dressed list, People has succeeded in EMBARRASSING every other woman on that list! We’re pretty sure being on a list with Kim has made respectable women like Amal Clooney and Kate Blanchett a lot LESS excited about the so-called “honor.” Aspiring designer Kanye West is probably quite happy because HE takes credit for telling his wife what to wear. Kim wore the nasty get-up above to a dinner WITH HER FAMILY IN PARIS and it was an international embarrassment.

SACHA BARON COHEN KNOWS WHAT HE’S DOING

Sacha Baron Cohen can barely contain his smirk on the red carpet at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London. We’re pretty sure he was hoping for some legal entanglements to publicize his Showtime Who is America series- and he got what he wanted. Roy Moore (he’s a former Alabama Supreme Court Chief who lost a run for the senate) was one of Cohen’s prank victims and he just filed a 95 million dollar lawsuit against Cohen and everyone involved. He claims Cohen implied he was a pedophile – in fact six women recently charged Moore with pursuing them when they were teens, so it’s a sore subject! A court battle might open up a giant can of worms for Moore- and loads of new viewers for Sacha’s series.

JONAH HILL’S NEW LOOK: HOT OR SUPERBAD?

You can’t tell by the way he’s dressed, but Jonah Hill, 34, is in a good place right now. His weight fluctuations are legendary, but he’s currently enjoying a slim look that enables him to shop at places like Balenciaga. More important, he’s has written and directed his first film, Mid90s, about a bunch of skateboarders hanging out in the 90’s. We are fascinated by the sudden abundance of brand spanking new tattoos on his arms, so deliberately displayed by his athletic tank top.
