THE BECKHAMS EXTEND THEIR FASHION EMPIRE

It’s the First Family of Fashion – at least some of them. Victoria Beckham and her son Brooklyn and his model girlfriend Hana Cross attended the Kent & Curven show at Men’s Fashion Week in London for a good reason. David Beckham is a partner in the business producing “reimagined British Classics.” In fact, the flat cap that Brooklyn is wearing was David’s contribution – his grandfather wore the same style. OF course Victoria is wearing a sharp suit from her own collection.

BIRD BOX: THE ENDING COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH WORSE

If you plan to see Netflix’s Bird Box apocalyptic horror movie with Sandra Bullock, read no further. We were lucky to see it in a theater before all the hoopla started. It’s the story of unseen creatures that suddenly manifest on earth and anyone who looks at them, dies. Blindfolds are the only solution to survive. Sandra Bullock and her two children endure horrific situations to seek help. The movie was adapted from the novel of the same name, but the book had a distinctly different ending. The Hollywood Reporter pointed out that in the movie Sandra and kids eventually found safety and solace at an oddly located School for the Blind. They were finally able to remove their blindfolds. But in the book, the “safe haven” is a group of people who have deliberately blinded THEMSELVES in order to stay alive. We totally appreciate the more optimistic ending because we HATE to walk out of a movie feeling depressed…

SAM ELLIOTT: THE MAN THAT GOT AWAY

Here’s an interesting piece of historical Hollywood gossip: Back in 1984, Cher and Sam Elliott were cast in Mask – Cher played Eric Stoltz’s character’s mother, and Sam played her biker boyfriend. Cher and Sam had lots of hot scenes together – on and off bikes. She fell MADLY in love with Sam, and felt they were MADE for each other. Elliott had just married Katharine Ross so the timing was awful. Cher moaned to friends that Sam seemed like the love of her life – and she was miserable because she couldn’t have him. She was heartbroken for a long time…

DON’T SHOOT: IT’S DAVID SPADE!

It’s far from evident at first glance, but when it comes to popularity with women, David Spade, is commonly known as the George Clooney of comedy (back when George was single.) Spade is arguably between 5’5” and 5’7” tall, but he has been linked with more Hollywood beauties than better dressed guys twice his size. Look up his amazing list of exes. CINDY CRAWFORD COULDN’T CARE LESS ABOUT FAKE TABLOID STORIES

Does Star magazine have something against Cindy Crawford? Granted, gossip IS scarce during the holidays, so someone at the magazine decided it would be fun to create an awkward situation for the uncomplaining Cindy Crawford. The tabloid wrote that when Cindy attended the British Fashion awards with her family, that she was mistaken several times for Caitlin Jenner! (Cindy wore a black velvet gown similar to one that Caitlyn has worn.) Keep in mind, Caitlyn is 6’2” and 69 years old and Cindy is 5’9” and 52. And why would Caitlyn Jenner be holding hands with Rande Gerber? The absurdity of the “mistaken identity” claim influenced Gossip Cop to disprove the silly story, but Cindy paid no attention as usual.

MICHAEL B JORDAN MAKES US WANT TO SHOP FOR LEATHER

Michael B Jordan, 31, is one of the most ambitious and hard working actors in Hollywood. He’s added a glamour job to his extensive work portfolio – Jordan is the star of the 2019 ad campaign for Coach’s men’s leather goods. The Black Panther star is the first male face hired by Coach. He couldn’t resist posting one of the photos on Instagram.

LUKA SABBAT: HE’S GOT THE LOOK

Carousing last fall with nineteen years older Kourtney Kardashian certainly didn’t do any harm to 21 year old Luka Sabbat’s career – he’s doing better than ever. Luka already had connections in the fashion world and worked as a model for Kanye West and others. Now he’s got his first big acting role on Grown-ish, playing Yara Shahidi’s boyfriend in college. The Grown-ish cast is in New York promoting the show.

SIMON COWELL HAS CLONING IN HIS FUTURE

Who knew that America’s Got Talent host Simon Cowell was such a soft touch when it came to dogs? He has three Yorkshire Terriers that he adores and spoils – and rarely leaves at home. They have flown around the world with him (including Barbados, above) and have the run of his private jet with white leather seats. Despite the fact that he shares his life with his partner Lauren Silverman and their five year old son Eric, Simon says he can’t BEAR the idea of living WITHOUT his beloved dogs and is starting the process of having them cloned in South Korea – at $75,000 a pup!

TAYLOR SWIFT: LOOK WHAT YOU MADE HER DO

Singer/songwriter Taylor Swift had a massive quantity of balloons delivered to her house today – and for a damn good reason. She has more to celebrate than anyone we know: tonight the Netflix film of her insanely successful Reputation tour premiers – it was the BIGGEST SELLING US TOUR IN HISTORY – keep in mind, this is a female artist in an all-stadium tour with two female opening acts (Camila Cabello and Charli XCX!) As you may know, Reputation was the BEST SELLING ALBUM of the year! Hence the balloons…Let’s hear it for the waspy white girls!

DOLPH LUNDGREN IS HARD TO MISS – EVEN IN A SUPERMARKET

Dolph Lundgren is one of the most approachable celebrities in Hollywood. We noticed him nonchalantly checking out the fruit in the produce department at Gelson’s in West Hollywood and introduced ourselves. We told him we wrote for Star Magazine in the 80’s and 90’s and took delight in writing about his New York adventures as a bouncer at The Limelight and with Grace Jones etc in those wild years. He was really sweet and charming and got a kick out of reminiscing. Dolph is on a roll right now – he’s in Aquaman and Creed II – and yes, he looks great… (By the way, he really IS 6’5″)
