Liev Schreiber’s sons may not realize it now, but they seem to have a very cool dad. Liev, 51, not only rides bikes with his sons Alex, 11, and Sam, 10, all over New York, but he takes time for a heart to heart talk when needed. (Above with Sam.) Life is good for the Ray Donovan star – the series just got renewed for the seventh season so Liev is enjoying a steady income. Since 2016, he’s been quietly keeping company with Miss South Dakota, Taylor Neisen, 26, so he’s got a good thing going.

Usually when a model is past her prime and her rockstar boyfriend takes off, things go downhill. But not for Jerry Hall! The Texas model had a 22 year relationship with Rolling Stone Mick Jagger that produced four children. Their Bali marriage “ceremony” was declared invalid in court, and Jerry was left high and dry. But not for long. With her kids grown, Jerry dabbled in acting and TV until she hooked up with media mogul (and our former boss) Rupert Murdoch and they married in 2016. Life is good again – Jerry, 62, was photographed arriving at the UK airport after attending the Oscars with her husband.

Crazy Rich Asians star Gemma Chan is our pick for Best Dressed at the Oscars for SO many reasons! Start with the hot pink color – and we love the fluttery collar framing her face. The pleating and detailing of the layers of fabric is luscious and it goes on forever. This modern gown has NO restrictions! It’s not tight anywhere, just graceful and feminine. No need for industrial strength spanx or other compressive underwear or tape – Gemma actually looks comfortable – a look you rarely see at the Oscars! We would give anything to see a photo of Gemma (and other actresses in bouffant gowns) as they are SITTING in the theater. Where do they put all that skirt – do they roll it up on their laps – stuff half on their date’s lap? Inquiring minds want to know…

It goes without saying that we love Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet – they are adorable and one of our FAVORITE Hollywood couples. But this year’s Oscars didn’t bring out the best in them. They really TRIED with color coordination – pink would have been hot – dreary mauve, not so much. Actually their outfits both look homemade in terms of fit and design – Jason’s ill-fitting velvet suit is STRAINING and too tight for that big frame of his. Lisa’s dress is a little too thrift shop looking. A for effort, but F for result.

Talk about sore losers. Spike Lee wasn’t so lovable on Oscar night – he revealed a surprisingly inflated ego and bad sportsmanship. Spike won his first Oscar this year for Best Adapted Screenplay for BlackKkKlansman. (He shared the award with three other male writers.) He started his accepted speech with profanity and indicated to producers that he didn’t intend to stick to the 90 second speech limit given to winners. He proceeded to read a two page letter about history and his own story. But that wasn’t enough. Spike appeared deliriously happy backstage and posed with Best Supporting Actor Mahershala Ali. (above) Everything was fine UNTIL Green Book was announced as Best Film. Spike stood up and stormed out of the Dolby theater, muttering and waving his hands in disgust. Unbelievable. We happened to love Green Book and couldn’t be happier.

Justin Bieber’s model wife Hailey Baldwin has been frantically busy lately, flying from country to country for Fashion Weeks everywhere, and she hasn’t had much time to spend with her problematic husband. Hailey’s back in New York, but Justin was NOT with her when she left church today – apparently he departed earlier, deep in conversation with his pastor who is counseling him. (Is that pastor qualified?) Justin insists his mental struggle with anxiety and depression is due to fame and NOT his marriage, but we’re starting to wonder. There is still NO date set for the wedding ceremony they’ve been talking about for so long…

Dr Drew summed up the whole unfortunate and dismal Jussie Smollett situation with one word. The celebrity doctor pointed out that Jussie has not been admitted to a mental hospital or rehab (defense lawyers encourage that in hopes of a less harsh sentence) therefore Dr Drew asserts that’s it’s not a mental health situation – it’s a CHARACTER issue. Which is worse, of course, because it means Jussie is a manipulative and self-serving person – wholly unsympathetic. On the upside, this situation has taught all of us not to jump to conclusions. Funny, we just heard is that Jussie is suddenly claiming he has an untreated drug problem… Dr Drew was right on target.

Lisa Rinna is on a wild spree with her new hair. For the past two weeks Lisa has been seen out and about promoting her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reality series with a whole new look. She’s been wearing the same cute spikey short haircut for decades and with this wig she looks like a whole new – and flirty – person. (That guy close behind her looks like he’s pretending not to be interested in her) This could be a dry run for growing out her own hair.
