According to a Washington DC source, George’s latest scheme is a real doozy. As the ethics committee wades through his alleged and numerous crimes, George is prepared to SWITCH political parties from Republican to Democrat in a last ditch effort to save his seat! George’s reasoning is as convoluted as his resume, but the source explains George feels he might be able to hold onto his seat with his “plan.”

We sorta told you so! You read here that Disney was so fed up with the antics of Governor Ron DeSantis that it was quietly appraising the land that hosts and surrounds Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Well NO surprise to OUR readers that Disney CEO Bob Iger just dropped a major confirmation to our scoop. Bob was quoted as “questioning” whether the Governor APPRECIATED the jobs and $17 BILLION DOLLARS that Disney brings into the state of Florida each year. A well placed insider insists that while Disney is currently committed to staying in Florida, it IS thinking about showing DeSantis just how crucial they are to the state. While it’s still in the planning stages, one idea is to temporarily close the park for “renovations” and completely shut down all revenue into Florida. It’s not approved yet, but it’s possible if Ron keeps acting up. The nuclear option of pulling out of Florida remains on the table…
The Cannes film Festival red carpet attracts a huge assortment of fashion and it can’t ALL be fabulous. We love Catherine Deneuve, but we do NOT love her gown. The top is the worst. It makes her look like she has a very short neck and the sleeves make her look like she’s shrugging all the time. But the body of the unforgiving dress makes her look as sturdy and square as a refrigerator. And she seems SO uncomfortable! Something softer and looser would be far more flattering for this legendary beauty….

We actually LIKE Harry and Meghan (we know some readers don’t share our opinion) but they’ve lost some points with their latest statement. Last night the couple were in New York where Meghan accepted an award, but no sooner did she walk off the podium than the couple’s spokesperson released a statement about them being pursued for 2 hours in a “near catastrophic“ car chase – an obvious attempt to gain sympathy and draw comparisons to Princess Diana’s deadly crash. (Harry still mistakenly blames his mother’s death on paparazzi – NOT the actual killer- her drunk limo driver!) Their version of this high speed car chase makes zero sense -there’s NO WAY they’d be stuck in a car for two hours zooming around Manhattan at high speeds with the city’s bumper to bumper traffic! Plus, there were NO accidents or tickets issued during this “near catastrophe.” These two likely concocted this dramatic version of events hoping for good press, since Prince William and Kate seem to be dominating the headlines with positive stories recently. Plus, Harry and Meg live openly in Montecito, California and have never ONCE complained about high speed car chases or being pursued by the paparazzi. Sorry, Meg and Harry, you dropped the ball on this one.

Hilary Swank threw herself into her first ABC TV series, Alaska Daily – she played a scandalized a New York reporter who took a job at an Alaska newspaper to redeem herself. After 11 episodes it was just cancelled, but she can’t be TOO devastated. Actually it was good timing. That’s because she gave birth to twins last month! Hilary waited until her 40’s to have her first child because she wanted to “find the right guy” – her husband Philip Schneider. Now she’s thrilled to have a boy and a girl and she has the time she needs to spend with them.

An acquaintance of Bianca reveals that the architect seems to be morphing into Kim, from the way she now dresses, walks, talks, and looks! It’s no secret that Kayne was carrying a torch for Kim after they divorced- he pursued girls who resembled Kim, and dressed them up like her. Since Kanye no longer has the original, Bianca is evolving into a carbon copy! Her friend insists that Bianca’s Australian accent has faded and she now talks more like valley girl Kim. The friend also suspects that Bianca has had some work done to her face to resemble Kim – and even the way she WALKS is suddenly similar to Kim…

SOOO glad to hear that Dolph Lundgren has survived lung cancer after 8 years of treatment! He certainly didn’t look ill when I saw him a few years ago in Gelsen’s supermarket in West Hollywood. I was browsing in the produce department and saw the back of an extremely tall muscular man examining apples. Eventually he turned around, and I recognized Dolph Lundgren. Seeing him reminded me of all the hilarious druggy adventures I wrote about him and then-girlfriend Grace Jones back in the 80’s. (for Star Magazine) Dolph was just a bouncer at Limelight and SHE was the star at that time. I approached Dolph at Gelsens and introduced myself and he couldn’t have been nicer. We reminisced about those wild times and I told him how lucky he was that Sly Stallone, who was VERY sensitive about his height in those days, hired him, at 6’5″, as a Rocky costar, which launched his career. He IS a big blonde muscleman, but Dolph also seems to be a super nice and modest guy–

Could Anderson Cooper be the next to exit CNN? The network’s newer CEO, Chris Licht, is rebranding the news channel from liberal to being more centrist -which explains why he featured disgraced presidential candidate Donald Trump on a recent Town Hall. Donald’s outrageous appearance was peppered with lie after lie (he does seem to lie about everything) and the live audience was stacked with his ill-mannered supporters. It was SO not typical for CNN, that many viewers are now calling for a boycott. Even some of Anderson’s well-connected friends gave him grief over Trump’s appearance (even though he had nothing to do with the show) so now he is rethinking his relationship with the network. Although Anderson is still under contract, behind closed doors, talks have started about an amicable split. My source says that unless Anderson is given more control over the network’s new direction he could be out the door.
