JUSTIN BIEBER AND JANE FONDA HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON

Back in her “Klute” days, Jane Fonda rocked the 70’s shag haircut that decades later gave birth to the Justin Bieber look. It’s not just the hair – it so happens these two look enough alike to be mother and son. Justin is so obsessed with not having a hair out of place that we wonder if he will hold on to this ‘do long after it’s expiration date.

  1. Bieber must have acne and pimples on his forhead which has never seen a second of the sun or maybe even soap and water.

  2. Like Fonda back in the 60’s and 70’s, Bieber is the subject of the masturbatorial fantasies of dirty old men. Right Strom?

  3. Both haircuts are layered, but the proportions are totally different. Looking at their faces, their features have similar proportions, but everything is angled in different directions; e.g. her eyes slant slightly upwards, his toward the back. His nose curves in just under the eye, hers curves out. Her chin is pointier, his doesn’t come to the same kind of point, etc.

Love that picture of Fonda; thought the “Klute”-era look was quite a good one for her.

    Hahahah!Right on!!!!I can’t stand this Lesbieber…hahaha!

  5. Right E.

I believe Fonda’s hairstyle in that photo is a mid-seventies shag. Bieber is sporting an Anime inspired helmut-head look. I don’t think that cut is all that appealing but it is the result of cutting techniques that are much more advanced from those of the 70’s.

  6. Unfortunately I remember the “shag” haircut and had mine that way in the early 70’s for nursing school when it had to be off my collar. I detested it immediately and couldn’t WAIT for it to grow out.
There have really been some hideous hairstyles perpetrated on the public by way of “stars” and I’m scared now to go to the mall and see droves of Beibers running around with those awful helmut-heads. It’s nearly as awful to look at as the baggy jeans-ass showing look where they have to walk like they have a load of shit in their underwear, legs spread wide, belt around their thighs, in order to keep them from falling all the way down. I LOVE IT when they get chased on “Cops” and fall down & get caught because of their own stupid pants!!!

  7. LOL Reta.

I am glad to see that the anime gravity-defying styles, and faux-hawks are gone. I think they were my least favorite in the last 30 years. Though the punky mullet (which was really hip for five seconds in 1979) is a close second.

  8. My son is a cop, and he says when they bring in a prisoner for booking, they handcuff them to a pole that runs the length of a wall, while awaiting booking, then place them in a cell. If they mouth off, and after warning, continue to mouth off, they pull those low riders down to their ankles, and leave them standing there bare assed. He says they stop all the tough guy threats, and whine like dogs, begging them to pull them back up. I wish He’d get pictures!

  9. I find Jane’s hair style in that photo really unattractive. Justin’s looks much better. And for the record, Donny Osmond, Bobby Sherman and the boys on the Brady Bunch had hair like Bieber’s. Fonda’s is longer and just plain ugly.

  10. Lenny, she was naive, idealogical, and suffered from youthful arrogance. She has said as much, and apologized. Let it go.

  11. No Sebastian, I just remember a woman standing with the enemy and I forgive, won’t forget.

  12. Lenny, I see your point. I suppose Fonda should be a cautionary tale – it is not possible to take some things back.

  13. Sebastian, there are things we forgive and forget in a minute. But there are two things that we as people don’t ever forget and that’s someone who rapes or kills a child and someone who sell out our country.
