EZRA MILLER: THE NEXT BIG THING – AND HE’S NO JUSTIN BIEBER

Teen girls not interested in the Justin Bieber type will be thrilled to discover the sly, handsome star of “We Need To Talk About Kevin.” (Too bad very few teens will probably see this indie film.) Ezra Miller, 19, is gripping and unsettling as the psychopathic Kevin – he’s pale and goth, with a sinister edge. He’s so convincing in this movie when he torments Tilda Swinton, that his real mother sobbed when she saw the film. And he’s a musician – Ezra is drummer in the New York based band Sons of an Illustrious Father.

  1. I hear Tilda Swinton is amazing in the film but when I first looked at this picture the only thing that came to mind was Richard Ramirez, the Night Stalker. I’m sure the kid is a great guy but the resemblance is creepy.

  2. let’s hope some desperate jobless mum in america NAILS him in time……

  3. Why are most of the ‘next big things’ in the entertainment industry all Jewish?

  4. J-Man….DEAD ON!!! SCARY!!!! maybe he’ll get the part when THAT movie is made but he doesn’t have long to go before making it or he’ll be too old.

  5. Holy crap…..that guy looks just like a young Richard Ramirez aka “The Night Stalker”

    How creepy!!

  6. Janet, You are absolutely right about Ezra -he has the potential to be the next big thing -although he probably won’t follow the path of justin bieber because Ezra seems to be involved in more intelligent/artistic endeavors. I just saw “We Need To Talk About Kevin” in NYC. The movie is disturbing but very good! Ezra played the part perfectly.

There was an impromptu Q&A with Ezra after the movie. He was totally cool and very easy on the eyes! As he was leaving the building, he did walk out in a floor-length fur coat -but he can get away with it – he was totally working the rock star look. I think we will see much more of him in the future.

I don’t know, but I like it! Logan Lerman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anton Yelchin, Mila Kunis, Andrew Garfield, that’s a great group of young Jewish actors!

Actually, other than those actors and a few others, most of the next big things are British… from Britain.
