The Mummy

It’s been a bad year for Tom Cruise in more ways than one. Americans are simply losing their admiration for the Top Gun hero. Leah Remini’s Scientology and the Aftermath expose on A&E has been picked up for another season and is gunning for an Emmy nomination. Suri Cruise hasn’t seen her father for YEARS because she is now “a suppressive person.” Tom’s latest movie The Mummy had dismal reviews (“unwatchable”) and flopped at the USA boxoffice. Maybe that’s why he spends most of his time in the UK these days…

Tom Cruise is filming yet another movie in the UK, as far as he can get from his non-Scientology daughter Suri. (Suri and her mom Katie Holmes spend their time in New York and LA.) SO disconnected. Tom, however, IS living close to his other daughter Isabella, 23, (who is still into Scientology) and her British husband Max Parker in London. Above, Tom’s on location in London filming The Mummy with actress Annabelle Wallis, who happens to be Chris Martin’s girlfriend. She’s 5’7” so Tom hauled out his elevator boots to keep up with her. As usual, Tom plays a hero – a Navy Seal sent on a mission to find terrorists in a bunker in the Iraqi desert – but instead he finds the mummy’s curse. Sounds hokey, but we shall see…
