Keanu Reeves is far from a big spender but he always manages to be in the most fabulous places at just the right time. Usually alone, however. What could be better than Rome at Christmas time? Keanu is there dutifully promoting his new movie “The Day The Earth Stood Still.” Producers love him because he goes all out to publicize his movies and he’s never a diva.

It’s Keanu Reeves striding down Madison Avenue past Barneys. He didn’t go in. And he seems to have gotten a new pair of beat up shoes. We’re happily looking forward to December 12 when his movie “The Day the Earth Stood Still” opens. One thing about Keanu – he ever seems short of acting jobs.

No doubt Mad Men‘s Jon Hamm added a bit of male mystique to the Democratic Vanity Fair party in Denver. He does wear that short haircut well. We can hardly wait to see him in the remake of “The Day The Earth Stood Still” with Keanu Reeves.

Keanu Reeves is back in Australia where he filmed his Matrix movies. This time he’s in Sydney promoting his new – and highly watchable – movie Street Kings. Reporters there were relieved to note that he got new shoes since the last time he visited wearing those old beat up sneakers. Next year he’s filming a remake of the 50’s classic “The Day the Earth Stood Still” – he’ll be starring as the alien who comes to earth – we can hardy wait.
