Korean/American production is described as a sci-fi-horror-monster movie! The story is confounding- it’s about a young girl scheming to prevent a big corporation from kidnapping her best friend Okja – a gigantic animal! If this doesn’t sound particularly interesting – you are not alone. BUT consider the stars – Tilda, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Paul Dano. How bad can it be? PLUS Brad Pitt and Netflix are enthusiastic backers and producing it!
