We wonder what “The Shield” star Michael Chiklis thinks about Chaz Bono having a “man crush” on him! According to The Enquirer, Cher’s husky transgender son Chaz thinks Michael has the perfect physique and aspires to look like him. Chaz had female to male surgery last year and has long had a weight problem. Chaz likes the fact that Michael looks sturdy and strong and masculine. Chaz has given up on ever being slim, but would love to look like Michael.

Michael Chiklis isn’t ALWAYS the hard guy he played on “The Shield.” Here he’s just a dad strolling in Beverly Hills with his wife Michelle and two daughters Autumn and Odessa. Michael has been developing a series called “House of Cards” at FX about a ponzi scheme and since the Bernie Madoff scandal broke, the idea is red hot. Great timing – but so far Michael wants to produce and not star.
The Shield’s Michael Chiklis certainly isn’t as fierce as he looks. This season a regular background guy who plays a detective in the squad room returned to work with a bald head. An A.D. asked the actor WHY he shaved his head and the guy explained he’d been having chemo to treat his cancer. The A.D. expressed fear that Michael might not want another bald guy in his scenes. Naturally the actor was worried because he needed his union health insurance. When Michael was consulted, he went to bat for the hairless background actor and declared “No problem- he can work here anytime!”
