Katharine McPhee parked on the street so she wouldn’t have to pay for valet parking, and she left her little dog in the car while she went to lunch at Orso last week. The little pooch slept in his carrying case while she was gone. Fortunately, it was a cool day , but we don’t think this is a good idea. Bad things can happen when dogs are left alone in cars. The little guy was SO happy to see Katharine when she came back.
Katharine McPhee is not faking illness to squirm out of the American Idols tour. Since she was diagnosed with laryngitis , there’s been a lot of speculation that Katharine had OTHER things she wanted to do, rather than tour with the gang. She has NOT been performing elsewhere as rumored. Our inside source tells us that Katharine has been forbidden to even speak – she communicates by “mouthing” words (not even whispering) or text messaging. She’s taken doctors orders very seriously, and hasn’t spoken at all at home. And she is actually very anxious to join the tour and see all her friends again. According to her doctor, it will happen any day now.
