Any of you readers who disagree with my claim that NO DECENT LOOKING MAN EVER LOOKED BETTER WITH A BEARD are invited to take a close look at this photo that Jessica Biel posted on Instagram. Jessica looks perfectly nice, but her husband Justin Timberlake has lost his youthful popstar good looks thanks to that horrendous beard. Beards are NOT a man’s best friend!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, it sounds like most of us missed the screening party of the season Tuesday night and we wish we’d been there! Cable channel Freeform (it’s related to Disney) had a first-of-its kind covid careful event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel celebrating the 90’s and their new series Cruel Summer. (Jessica Biel is executive producer) 80 hotel rooms were rented for the premier and guests watched the first two episodes of the series from their balconies facing a 70 foot screen, with special speakers in every room. Each hotel room was stocked with 90’s inspired decor -band posters, teen magazines, scrunchies etc, and 90’s snacks like Hot Pockets and Capri Sun. 90s music played in every room before and after. Guests were invited to stay overnight if they wanted to. What a fun night! Cruel Summer is about a missing teen and the story takes place on a single day in 93, 94, and 95. Hardly probable. New mom Jessica Biel is too much of a health food and exercise freak. But she DID strike a peculiar pose as she arrived at her newly opened restaurant Au Fudge on Melrose Ave. Entrepreneur Jessica was motivated to open an eating place that is FUN for both parents and their kids. From what we’ve seen the food looks quite colorful and yummy. All her actress girlfriends with and without children showed up for the opening earlier this week.

Jessica Biel is wrapping up another work day on the LA set of “New Girl.” She’s making a special guest appearance on the first show of the fall season. Jessica plays a brilliant and beautiful scientist who competes heavily with Zooey Deschanel’s character Jess for the same guy at a wedding. Tune in September 16 to find out who wins.

The Greater Goods card and gift shop in Minneapolis doesn’t get a lot of celebrity shoppers so they were delighted to have a famous visitor buying Valentines this week. When a familiar looking beautiful woman appeared at the register to pay, the owner instantly knew she was famous. “Are you Jessica Alba?” he ventured. She graciously replied “No – I get that a lot, but I’m Jessica Biel.” It was a character revealing moment and Jessica passed with flying colors. The shopkeeper was embarrassed, but grateful that she was so chatty and nice. She was in town with her husband Justin Timberlake’s “The 20/20 Experience Tour.” After Jessica left with a man who appeared to be a bodyguard, the store called our comrade in gossip, CJ at the Star Tribune.

Sure, Justin Timberlake is good at a lot of things – he’s an accomplished singer, dancer, and actor and can be very funny on Saturday Night Live. He took his sweet time picking out a wife (with the help of his doting mother Lynn) and finally married Jessica Biel after five years together. He’s definitely a catch, but Jessica has to endure Justin’s obsession with the most boring sport imaginable – GOLF. Every so often he dresses up in his “dad” clothes and spends the day golfing – and of course Jessica pretends to be interested and actually hits a few balls herself. Yawn. Anything to keep her man happy.

Jessica Biel, 30, finally succeeded in tying the knot with Justin Timberlake ,31, because she gave in to his mother Lynn Harless and let HER call the shots. Jessica would have been happy with a small romantic wedding, but Justin’s mom Lynn had bigger ideas. It’s common knowledge that Justin is a HUGE mama’s boy and his mother successfully runs his world – she’s his co-manager, deals with his finances, runs his media company, and is chairwoman of his charity. Justin probably would have married Cameron Diaz a few years back but his mother disapproved of the 9 year age difference. Jessica and Justin had their problems but she hung in there and was always nice to Lynn. Hold everything!! Justin Timberlake has been located, and he’s in the middle of saying “I do!” A source just told us that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are getting married in Jackson Hole, Wyoming as we write this! They pulled a fast one on everybody! They are in the middle of their ceremony at a very fancy private estate and members of the wedding party are staying at the Four Seasons Hotel there. Jessica lied in a recent interview when she was asked about the upcoming nuptials and insisted “We haven’t planned a thing!”
UPDATE: last night turned out to be the rehearsal dinner and the wedding is actually today!
Sorry, but if this is the result of Justin Timberlake telling his fiancée Jessica Biel what to wear, we think she should stop listening. Jessica is one of the true natural beauties in Hollywood and this is how she showed up for the “Total Recall” premier in London. She has admitted that Justin is in the habit of giving her fashion and beauty advice. Her dress is awfully fussy and the feathered peplum gives her an odd shape. Her haircut is a bit droopy for a festive evening out. On the other hand, maybe Justin WASN‘T around to check out this look before she left the hotel.

SOMEBODY should be up for an Oscar for Best Make-up next year for turning Anthony Hopkins into a convincing Alfred Hitchcock. The contrived resemblance is amazing – how did they get those jowls to look so natural? Hopkins is starring as the legendary director in “Hitchcock” with Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel. The plot is described as a love story (not between Hitchcock and his blonde leading lady) but between him and wife Alma, played by the dependable Helen Mirren, as it happened during the 1960 filming of “Psycho.”
