SYLVESTER STALLONE HAS THE HAIR OF A TWENTY YEAR OLD!

Sylvester Stallone, 70, just walked out of his favorite hair salon with a fresh new cut. The only thing is, his hair looks decades younger than he does! Of Course, the Rocky star is in great shape, but his hair is so thick it makes one wonder if there’s some form of augmentation going on. His hairline actually looks LOWER than when he was in his twenties! It’s very thick and not grey. He must have the best hair treatments that money can buy (remember he used growth hormones and steroids back in the day to maintain his physique.) He looks good – maybe a little TOO good…

MICKEY ROURKE LETS HIS HAIR DOWN

Mickey Rourke’s looks never cease to fascinate. A few years back he started experimenting with hair extensions. We imagine his close friend and hairdresser Giuseppe Franco has fun dreaming up new hair augmentations for his actor buddy. Extensions can be difficult to conceal and Mickey often wore a knit cap. Maybe that’s why he moved on to wigs. And he has quite a collection of hair colors and styles in his wigs – salt and pepper, blonde highlights, and sometimes a bouffant style.

ENRIQUE IGLESIAS IS WAY TOO ATTACHED TO THAT BASEBALL CAP

We’ve come to the rather sad conclusion that Enrique Iglesias wears a toupee – for special occasions. For the past few years he has rarely taken off that goofy baseball cap, (he even wears it when SWIMMING!) and we assumed he was having time-consuming hair transplants. But apparently that’s not the case – if Enrique poses for publicity photos or attends an award show he appears to have a very full head of hair. But that’s the only time you see it. On all other occasions he wears the cap. So he probably feels too self- conscious to wear the hairpiece all the time. (Above, Enrique looks sexy from the scalp down performing on Thanksgiving in the UK.)

GORDON RAMSAY CAUGHT GETTING HAIR TRANSPLANTS

We’re not fans of Gordon Ramsay’s nasty disposition on “Hell’s Kitchen” so we were particularly amused when he was caught in the act of having hair transplants. He was photographed leaving a Beverly Hills hair augmentation clinic wearing peculiar headgear that included a surgical cap. Apparently he had plugs transplanted from the back of his neck to his slightly receding front hairline. We hear that he had a new minimally invasive procedure that costs around $30,000 but it heals in a week or so.

Mickey Rourke had some unusual room service during his recent stay at The Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. He had a technician bring his equipment and transplant hair plugs on his scalp in the privacy of his own room. Maybe he doesn’t want his young Russian girlfriend back in New York to know about it.

When Phil Spector had to check his wig at the jail entrance and Paris Hilton had to surrender her hair extensions, we figured Lindsay Lohan would be forced to give up her fake hair when she checked into jail. She DIDN’T, and jail officials were accused of giving her preferential treatment. Jailers responded that Lindsay‘s extensions were permanently attached to the roots of her hair while Paris’s extensions were clip-ons (her own brand DreamCatchers) and Spector’s hair was not attached to his head either. And we were SO looking forward to seeing Lindsay’s natural hair….. Apparently eyelash extensions are not an issue in jail.

There’s no need to envy Kim Kardashian for her long think hair because it’s NOT natural – you can buy the same hair yourself! Kim picked up a fresh load of extensions at The Hair Shop on Wilshire Blvd yesterday. Maybe she has a special occasion coming up. Apparently all the Kardashian sisters have augmented hair.

Michael Jackson’s appearance when leaving a medical building in Beverly Hills this week, he appears to be getting hair transplants or some similar augmentation in preparation for his concerts in London this summer. Under his fedora you can plainly see a surgical bonnet, which implies that he’s had work done on his head. Michael burned his scalp in 1984 while filming a Pepsi commercial but he didn’t lose a great deal of hair. For whatever reason, he’s been wearing wigs for the last decade and maybe they’re getting hot and itchy so he’s seeking to improve his real hair.

All we know is, we can’t get ENOUGH information about the latest techniques in men’s hair replacement. It’s WAY more interesting than the unending obsession most gossip rags have with “baby bumps.” Anyway, there’s a new product out there that even WE never heard of. It’s a beauty secret that’s been kept under wraps by Hollywood studio stylists and has yet to appear on the shopping Channel. An old buddy of Entourage’s Jeremy Piven ran into him not long ago and remarked how great the actor’s hair looks. Piven confided that he has a new trick – he supplements his do with “hair in a can.” It’s chopped up little pieces of hair that is sprayed on to fill in thin spots on the head. “It’s just for photos or special occasions.” the Entourage agent added.
