DYLAN MCDERMOTT BOUNCES BACK

Dylan McDermott, 57, always seems to have a job – whether in movies or on TV- he’s continually working. While filming his last series, Stalker, he fell for his costar Maggie Q. The series was canceled, but they got engaged within two months. Dylan and Maggie seemed perfectly happy, but the engagement lasted FOUR years, (never a good sign) and they called it off in March. Dylan has a new series in the works with Ryan Murphy called The Politician AND he appears to be dating again. Dylan brought this young beauty to Craig’s for dinner so he’s not keeping her a secret…

Dylan McDermott and Maggie Q have a lot to celebrate because their “Stalker” TV series was renewed for the rest of the season just yesterday. Since they started filming, Maggie and Dylan, who play detectives, have been getting closer and closer. Hawaiian born Maggie, 35, is best known for her martial arts movies, and lives in LA with several rescued dogs. Dylan, 53, divorced his wife Shiva Rose in 2009 so he’s single also. They’ve been keeping company after hours and you know what that means. Above, they were photographed arriving together at the Jimmy Kimmel show.

DYLAN MCDERMOTT’S TRAGIC CHILDHOOD: HIS MOTHER WAS MURDERED

“Practice” attorney Dylan McDermott always seemed like a good looking guy who grew up pampered with money. It turns out his youth was not as idyllic as one might assume. His Italian mother was fifteen when he was born in Connecticut in 1961 and his Irish father was seventeen. Six years later they were divorced and Dylan, his mother, and sister were living with grandparents. In 1967 his mother was shot dead and her death was originally ruled an accident. The kids were raised by grandparents, but Dylan recently contacted police to get details about his mother’s death. They re-examined the investigation and determined that his mother had been killed by her gangster boyfriend. In 1972 the boyfriend’s body was found in the trunk of a car in a supermarket parking lot. Case closed. (Above, Dylan maintains his good looks by snacking on orange juice and a banana on the set of “Dogfight.”)
